As before, you were expecting that weren't you?
Item 7 on that checklist you are following states...2 -
Gettingrippedoff said:Latest Update. I have received a letter from UKPC solicitors dated a few days ago advising claimant wishes to proceed with the claim. They have also enclosed a copy of Claimants DQ form.
The letter then goes onto to state "that in order to assist court in achieving it overriding objective, claimant may be prepared to settle this case. In the event I wish to discuss settlement, requested I call them within 7 days and make reference to the correspondence they have sent."
I have no plans for a settlement, happy to go to court now i'm this far.
I have checked the MCOL claim history and its not showing CCBC has sent a DQ to me. Last update is from a month ago advising my defence has been received.
I will wait a few days now to see if CCBC sends me DQ form, if not I will download one from the internet and send it the CCBC via email and also a copy to the claimants solicitor.
AND ......
"that in order to assist court in achieving it overriding objective, claimant may be prepared to settle this case. In the event I wish to discuss settlement, requested I call them within 7 days and make reference to the correspondence they have sent.
Load of old nonsense ..... but in reality, DCBL are assisting the court to spank THEM as they add fake amounts, that government ban in the code of practice ... what will a judge think about that we wonder ? We already know and it's bad news for DCBL
There cannot be any settlement on a scam amount .... no discussion is open with DCBL
Such nonsense normally means they are ready to discontinue. Or, be fools and get spanked in court and pay your costs ..... DCBL now have a choice ...

Thanks guys.
Sorry to be a pain by adding step by step comments of what I'm doing. Just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

Directions Questionnaire has been sent to CCBC and UKPC solicitors.
Lets see if they want to proceed and go to court.
Thanks for all the support so far.

Hi guys,
I sent a completed copy of my DQ form to CCBC and claimants solicitor 2 weeks ago after receiving a copy of the Clients DQ form and a letter stating they wish to proceed.
I downloaded copy of the DQ form from the internet and emailed to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk to which I received a auto reply acknowledgement from the CCBC. I also emailed a copy to DCBL to which I got a auto reply and as per instructions also sent a copy via the post.
Today I have received a letter from the CCBC saying this is now a defended claim and are asking me to complete a copy of DQ form they have sent and send to CCBC and other parties.
I have checked MCOL and last update shows from a a few days "DQ filed by claimant / DQ sent to you"
Could this just be a case of CCBC having a backlog of emails and have not picked up my DQ form sent nearly 2 weeks ago yet or would you suggest I resend the form to the CCBC and DCBL?

Finally MCOL has been updated with DQ filed by myself. Latest update now showing claim has been transferred to local County Court Hearing Centre for allocation.1

Hi Guys,
I've just returned from holiday yesterday after after 2 weeks away and have received a Notice of Allocation dated 16th June. It says the claim is allocated to Small Claims Track and claim will be heard on 9th February 2023.
It further goes on on to say that each party must deliver to the other party and to the court copies of documents on which I intend to rely on at the hearing and must do so by 14th July.
Can i get some help on this, as this one will be sorted in court now.
Are the copies to be emailed or posted?
Evidence such as photos am I expected to send physical photos or will paper photocopies be fine?
Is there a link with all the info I need to send to court and claimant and how to do this?
