    I think this could help.

    2.5 Blue Badge

the scheme was introduced in 1971 under Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970; it aims to help people with severe mobility problems caused by visible and non-visible disabilities to access goods and services by allowing them to park close to their destination

Seems all complaints avenues have been rejected.
Solicitors letter yesterday, 7 days to pay 160 pounds.
I honestly think this is Money Extraction by Car Parking Comp. from Residents.

Guess I pay or say goodbye to my recently improved Credit Rating after 10 years.
Maybe I should risk another Six years and make use of existing Credit.

    thanks

Irrational. You're nowhere near a court case, and as you're in Scotland never ever likely to have a Sheriff Court case against you. Anything under £300 won't go anywhere near courtroom in Scotland.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    This isn't true.

Why do you think we tell everyone to defend, and posters in your position do?  Because no-one's credit is being risked.

Getting and defending a claim does not get a CCJ even if you were among the 1% who report a loss here (they just pay in full, under £200.  No CCJ).

No-one here would pay this.  The solicitor's letter is laughable and certainly not a flag to pay. No-one risks anything here.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't be sucked in by money scammers and their rubbish.

Your well earned credit rating will remain intact.

These fools know all about scotland and how the system works

This is just the work of "men behaving badly" which is rife in the scam parking industry

Don't be scammed and ...... DO NOT PAY

And don't go to CAB - their typical "advice" is no better than the article on the main MSE website. And, iirc, very similar to it.

Hang on - you are in Scotland?  Did we know that?  Nothing will happen!

Which solicitor and what are they threatening?
