    Thanks for your help....

Quick question. As I payed online for my parking tickets, can I ask them for a record of this rather than a PDT machine record from that day, of payments made?

Thanks, I didn't see that part!

I luckily already have the data protection officer's email address.

To double check the next step is: Email the data protection officer for Excel Parking Services Ltd requesting SAR and also separately email the DPO regarding debt advice.

Additionally, is it worth waiting a couple of weeks before I do this to prolong the time I have before they can actually submit a claim?
Another vital next step is coming very soon so please don't disappear again for months over the Summer:

Does this email to the DPO look correct in regards to SAR?

    Good Afternoon

I am writing to place a Subject Access Request.

My name is ................ and have attached a photo of my V5 certificate as proof of correct data subject.

I request that I am sent the following information:

    - All photos taken of the vehicle involved.
    - All letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence.
    - A PDT machine record from that day, of payments made. (not sure if I should do this as I payed online)
    - All data held, all evidence Excel Parking Services Limited will rely on, and a full copy of the PCN, and Notice to Keeper.
    - A list of all PCNs outstanding against this Vehicle Registration Number.

Can I also remind Excel Parking Services Limited that any claim must be for all PCNs, not several separate claims.

    Regards

You are only entitled to your personal data, so won't get PDT records, but what you can ask for is for partial PDT log data that matches your partial VRM.

Yes to including a request for proof of online payments.

You should have your own records of online payment anyway.

Hello, sorry it is me again...

So the dreaded Claim for now £780 has been issued on the 04/02/2025 by Excel Parking Services Ltd.

I have completed Acknowledgement of Service. Now starting on the defence.

Only thing I wanted to mention was... back in October 2019 (after my previous win against VCS Ltd for another claim), Vehicle Control Services Limited were ordered, by court, to pay me £50... but this never materialised.

This current claim is not being claimed by VCS Ltd, but I've read that Excel Parking Services Ltd is owned by the same person, based at the same address (7 Europa View in Tinsley), and includes subsidiary Vehicle Control Services VCS. I've also read that Excel operate under two trading names, Excel Parking and Vehicle Control Services (VCS).

My question is - Can I counterclaim EPS Ltd for this court ordered £50 from 2019 (of which I will be adding interest and my fees) for VCS Ltd given they are subsidiary and owned by the same person?

I'm not sure how much a counterclaim costs, and whether it is worth the effort?

    Thanks in advance

What have you done in the last five years to try and recover that £50?
No you cannot merge the two claims.

Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

Did Excel Parking file the claim   ?  Or DCB Legal   ? Left hand side of the claim form

Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding the VRM details first

Also,  change your thread title to something more suitable like

Excel Parking DCB Legal court claim

With a Claim Issue Date of 4th February, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS') in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 10th March 2025 to file a Defence.

That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
