All of it and copy in DCB as well or demand that Excel immediately inform DCB Ltd.

And attach ID such as the car's logbook to prove who you are, the keeper of the vehicle.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hiya

Just to update, today I received a "Letter of Claim" from DCB Legal dated 29th of June 2022. They are acting on behalf of Excel Parking Services Limited.

It gives me 30 days to either pay the amount or complete a "Reply form and financial statement". The amount is £640.00.

I've read the Newbies thread, but I don't fully understand what I should be doing at this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first few paragraphs of the second post in the NEWBIES thread offer good guidance on that.

Thanks, I didn't see that part!

I luckily already have the data protection officer's email address.

To double check the next step is: Email the data protection officer for Excel Parking Services Ltd requesting SAR and also separately email the DPO regarding debt advice.

Additionally, is it worth waiting a couple of weeks before I do this to prolong the time I have before they can actually submit a claim?

    Do the SAR straight away.

You can leave the "seeking debt advice, put the case on hold" until nearer the 30 days to respond if you wish, or need the extra time. If the LoC was from a solicitor, then you need to reply to them, and the PPC as well if you wish.

The "seeking debt advice and put it on hold" goes to the PPC not the DPO, as per the NEWBIE sticky: -
As well as the SAR to the parking firm's DPO, also write another email, if they are using Gladstones, DCLegal, BW Legal or other solicitor.
    Your email tells the solicitor:
    (a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
    (b) I have sent your client a SAR
    (c) also confirm your correct 'address for service' if you've moved and the PPC has two addresses.

You obviously write (c) as "I confirm my correct address or service."
