He seems obsessed by the "Mighty M cars" for whatever reason.Chris_English said:utopia55 said:As I said they took off £500 from the price of the vehicle
If you are going to try to impress people by making up a car purchase, why do you keep doing it with such a relatively normal one?
Wasnt there a thread by someone who'd inherited some money and casually bought a Lamborghini?0 -
There was, I believe penned by former member 'Flatulentoldgoat'. Given his name, the conditions in the Lamborghini's small cabin must have been foul.motorguy said:

I've done it with my Lamborghini Diablo, changing the factory wheels for a set of 14" items from a Vauxhall Astra. Those allow the mounting of 'Landsail' tyres, which cost only £30 each. The only modification required for the car is fitment to each wheel hub of an appropriate spacer, such as those made by Sheila B Devotion.
Although, the OP for that Lambo thread still exists but just does not visit these days.Grumpy_chap said:I am jealous of Ditzy with her modified Lambo getting tyres at £30 each - even my Focus, the cheapest tyres were £150 for a full set (cash only deal)
Good thing on the swap to regular wheels and tyres is the softer ride will be more comfortable.

Going back to the original question I would expect an oil change to be a similar price regardless of brand and model of car.0

I think the standard oil and filter change is quite reasonable. But there is one at 36,000 that requires a plug change etc and thats circa £1,000 (i think theres a lot of labour charges involved)Ibrahim5 said:Going back to the original question I would expect an oil change to be a similar price regardless of brand and model of car.

So you expect a BMW dealer to have the same Hourly labour rate as a MG?Ibrahim5 said:Going back to the original question I would expect an oil change to be a similar price regardless of brand and model of car.
Even Kwik Fit want from £67.95 for a oil & filter change.Life in the slow lane0 -
