Should the companies I've emailed acknowledge that they have had an updated address from me?0

You didn't get a letter from the court ! It came from the CCBC in Northampton , the Business Centre
You will nominate a court in your N180 DQ in a few or several weeks time3 -
Certainly tell them to erase your old address for the new LBC. And tell the parking firm.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is related to the Letter of Claim received last week and not the original post
I emailed this to UKPC - and also reminded the other companies who'd previously sent me letters of my new address as clearly DCBLegal hadn't bothered updating their records.

( my name, current and old addresses)
Please supply the data about me that I am entitled to under data protection law relating to myself and I request that you change my address as a Data Rectification Notice for service and demand that you erase my old address.
(two photos of utility bills with account numbers and bank details blocked out)
This is to include but not limited to:
ALL photos taken
- all letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence earlier
- all data held, all evidence, and a full copy of the PCN, NTK
- and a list of all PCNs outstanding against me and/or this VRN, and I remind you that any claim must be for all PCNs, not several separate claims. If you need any more data from me to confirm my identity please let me know as soon as possible. It may be helpful for you to know that data protection law requires you to respond to a request for data within one calendar month.
If you do not normally deal with these requests, please pass this letter to your Data Protection Officer, or relevant staff member. Yours faithfully,

This was there reply - anything I need to be wary or or don't need to tell them? Surely they can get all the info I asked for from my address? The above matter and your subject access request dated (date) refers. Please note you have provided us with insufficient information to identify you.
As we have received your request via email, we will need to take steps to verify your identity before we can process your request.
Please can you confirm your identity as per the following for verification purposes (if you are the keeper of the vehicle, if you are not, we would need the information of the keeper of the vehicle as well as confirmation that you are authorised to receive the subject access request documents):
i) the vehicle registration number the ticket was issued against
ii) your Parking Charge Notice reference number
Once we are satisfied with the information you have provided us, we will then process your subject access request.
Kindly take notice that as we have requested to verify your identity, we are obligated to inform you of the following:
1. The reasons as to why we have requested additional information from you (please refer to the above reasoning)
2. You have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office; and
3. You have the ability to seek to enforce your right to erasure of the data through judicial remedy and processes.
Kind Regards
Data Protection Team
Many thanks for the help so far.

Just got a letter from DCB Legal
"having reviewed the contact of your defence we are writing to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim. The court will direct both parties to file directions questionnaires in due course. In anticipation we are enclosing a copy.
Without prejudice to the above, in order to assist the court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case. In the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call us on 0203 434 0433 within 7 days and make immediate reference to this correspondence."
Any advice on what to do - I'm guessing nothing?
Thanks again to everyone who's helped so far0 -
Please read again the 12 numbered steps for the court process - you'll find that this exact point is already addressed.
Jenni x2 -
So despite informing them of my new address via email using the wording advised on here, DCB Legal have used my old address on the claim form for the second case - luckily I have redirection on my mail. Have responded and updated my address on Gateway - do I email these clowns again with my new address?
Thanks again to everyone who's helped.0
