The format of the CCBCAQ email address that is shown in the first post of the Defence Template thread works.

I believe it would also work with all lowercase letters or all uppercase letters too, but why bother trying that?

I understand that any punctuation, e.g. full stops, added before the '@' will scupper things, but I don't understand why, nor do I need to.

I've completed the defence by following the guidelines in the link and popped a couple of photos in showing the poorly painted markers. I put my side of things down and left the rest in place, printed it off, signed it and scanned as PDF ready to email.

    Anything else I can do?

You didn't need to - evidence goes with your witness statement in several months time (if they decide to proceed).

Go back to the numbered steps in the court guide that you should have been following - it tells you the full process. :)

I've had an absolute nightmare with the clowns at PPL Conveyancers - taken a week short of a year from selling my house to moving in - and this was the third time we got to the point of exchange! They even emailed me at 11:40am on the day of completion asking me for bank statements otherwise my purchase couldn't go through - even though my sale had!
Is your case anything to do with private parking?  If so, which parking firm is involved?  There is a 'PPL' parking firm (but nothing to do with conveyancing, unless Wally has another iron in the fire! 😄).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

That bit is nothing to do with my parking ticket/case - just a brief insight into what stresses I'm going through in addition to this - there are also work/illness related matters, ex partner making any excuse she can not to see her daughter every other weekend as agreed and go out .... this was almost the straw that broke the camels back tbh :D

Upper case or lower case should not matter , but try to avoid using a Gmail address , Hotmail email or outlook would be better , check for the email auto receipt from the CCBC , do not assume that submission is proof of receipt , it's not !

The email auto receipt is proof of receipt

No evidence or exhibits are submitted with the defence

As I've just moved and the claim was sent to my old address do I need to inform DBL of the new address - I have put it in my draft email to the court already.

Also there's another ticket that a POPLA appeal was refused on that DRP have been sending the "pay £145 or we'll advise court letters" - do I need to email them and tell them I've moved?

Looks like DBL have sent out dozens of these claims to people I work with who got ticketed and either didn't bother appealing or had their claim knocked back - and all the week before xmas. It's a nightmare where I work, we get other people in our spots and the overflow car park is a 10 minute walk away - terrible in the rain/snow and not nice at night in any weather as its a secluded office block with poorly lit paths back to the retail park car parks.

Must make a fortune from poorly paid NHS staff on minimum wage.

Yes you MUST tell all parties and the CCBC to ERASE the wrong address from their records, under GDPR as a data rectification.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Everybody needs to know your new address.

If they don't you can look forward to a County Court Judgment against you without having had any opportunity to defend yourself.
