Well all pre employment forms completed and DH has a date for his op.

Still working on the aga question.

Farmer Rob cut our hedge and Daughterofsatan has made a collection of the clippings on the sitting room rug.

Made a £37 overpayment yesterday for neatness.

Hope your mum is ok.    Are the clippings to be rooted to make new plants?  Or just adding to the ambience/decor?

Thanks @Watty1. She is home and due to spend a week with a monitor thingy on. 

I view the clippings as a sort of art installation but puppylove (who's 11 now) is a philistine and dismantled it for chewing purposes.

Brilliant is not QUITE what I said to her...

Today I have to take DD1 to the train station to go back to uni. Very sad. I'm probably a bad mummy for not taking her all the way but it's 12 hours there and back. Cheaper on the train.

DD2 is off to drama with DH and later we will have to chat about her conduct at school. Let's say she didn't cover herself in glory.

We also need to shop, Liddly. Thwarted in our last attempt by a flat tyre.

DH is doing a crazily low carb low fat diet in prep for his op, I blithely offered to join him. Hmnnn.

Liddly done. Mum kindly gave us macaroni cheese and fresh bread.

DD1 safely back in Unitown.

Night in front of the fire I think.

Lush name! Yes so much going on, in bed by 8, took a pill, epic night's sleep. The GP gave me sleeping pills (7 of them) in October so I am being very careful with them.

Hello, thank you! She is home and ok but tired. She's soon to be 77 and a powerhouse.

Today I have to wrangle DD2 over her homework and an apology she needs to make to one of her teachers (and an ex colleague of mine) for being an @rse.

I/we also need to meet up with a family friend to exchange Christmas presents. We were delayed by the apothecary with the blue bottles letting me down with my present order.

DH continues with his extreme pre op diet. Three tablespoons of cornflakes anyone?!

One of the aga people has gone quiet, fingers crossed for the other.
