Morning!
School run done. Forgot to get Daughterofsatan out of the car as she's so good.
DD2 saved the homework crisis for 9pm. I was in bed.
Called a nice man about installing an aga (I know, I know)but it will be used if it happens and will replace two kitchen radiators, a kettle, a tumble dryer, a toaster and I am now homewoking (or hope to be soon) so I'll have saved 125 miles a week.
Next up promenade the puppies.
Because I am no longer applying for jobs I intend to defrag the house today.

Nice justification for the aga thereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
@Alchemilla - we also have non-pet mice periodically - the curse of having a sadistic cat who's a great hunter, but doesn't finish the poor wee buggers off in a timely fashion5

As a kid I remember how the riding stables got the rats out of the feed shed. Bang like heck on the corrugated iron walls with broom handles having first gathered various terriers on the yard. Brutal!4 -
Today I have promenaded the puppies, chatted to wonderful NDN, two loads of washing, two loads of dishwashing, cleared the carp off the kitchen table, messaged the aga engineer, made soup and lasagne, rewashed the posh cutlery that hasn't been put away yet and...no that's it. Oh yes, burnt two different digits, one by spilling superheated soup and the other on the infamous collapsing oven door.
Michael Gove DID get stuck in a lift so has to be a good day.6 -
Hearing about MG stuck in a lift this morning was the highlight of my day. They said it was the bbc one xtra lift (apparently their lifts each play a different station) so he was probably listening to something awful. Hilarious!MFW diary Adventures and Overpayments
