Congrats on the homeworking job. I have to admit I'm advertising all my vacancies as remote/hybrid at the moment as I think otherwise I'll miss out on a huge number of applicants. I'm just irritated by the fact that our system insists on my listing cities as location (so I'm advertising NY, Austin, London....)
My mortgage was considerably scarier than yours, but even the 25p transfers I've been making when current account interest comes in have made a difference. I do split anything left at month end between mortgage and savings, and I top up pensions before the end of the tax year. While reducing the mortgage is key to giving me choices, I also want the option to retire when I get fed up with work (unlikely to happen any time soon).7 -

Sounds like you have a crazy houseful there, I can identify with accidental mice we have an ever expanding amount of rodents (rats and mice currently) since ds2’s fiancée moved in.
