Hospital visits seem to be all over the place still. My great-niece born in November was born in hospital by emergency caesarean, and mum and dad were both in the room together, all the time, for about 6 days. The new dad didn't even get to go outside - and there were no visitors allowed at all.
Anyway, your OH will hopefully bear up well under it all - so, so tricky.apple_muncher said:How is dc's autism assessment going? We're also going down that road with dc.
@savingholmes got any top tips?5 -
I hope the op goes well and you manage to negotiate the visiting, must be so tricky for you all.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁5

Thanks NG. He is booked into a cheap hotel the night before as he has to be there at 7.
I found him a discount code but he didn't manage to use it (sigh).
Currently waiting for two new tyres that I can ill afford (punctured one plus bald spare). I need my car fully functional as hospital 90 minute drive from home. The joys of country life.
Just had an email from GP saying "you were due some good luck" bless.6 -

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
Thanks @Watty1 and @apple_muncher.
Car done, a bit of bedroom tidying done, bed stripped and remade. Had a sleep, Long Covid has wiped me out.
Collected DD2 from a club. Got the guinea pigs out for a cuddle.
Farrier tomorrow at silly o'clock so need to get Plops and Bigorse in to get their shoes off.
Sadly gave up the room I had booked for my uni weekend and failed to win an aga on ebay. I'm giving it a couple of days as the winning bidder has only one piece of feedback.6 -
Well done for getting so much done while suffering the effects of Long Covid - it can't be easy.6
