Working IT kit is always a bonus. When I get round to mucking out my office I need to swap my docking station and see whether the new one is any better at remembering that it has a network port/USB ports/monitors connected. And then arrange for all the excess stuff to be collected (and the contents of my hard drive rescued, although frankly I've managed without the files for so long maybe it won't matter!).

Good luck with your new work routine - you'll probably need the odd break before the school run, but most employers are flexible around things like that. Most people I work with have things like school pick-up/drop-off blocked in their diaries - sometimes they have to reorganise things for big meeting that can't be worked out round them, but it means people are aware. It also helps that members of the leadership team have these blocked in open calendars, so everyone else knows it's normal and expected.

Obviously it doesn't stop the usual idiots booking over pre-existing meetings, out of office time without bothering to check... I have a pre-written passive-aggresive email with screenshots on how to check availability ;)
