Thanks @apple_muncher and @savingholmes.
I can't afford a cleaner, I have horses!!
Today has been super busy after a slow start. Took DD2 and friend to another friend's. Washed, dried and replaced sofa covers. Put all clean bowls and baking dishes away in newly defragged cupboard. Loads of random carp gone in the recycle box. Multiple loads of washing/dishwashing. Planned food for the weekend. Wrote a shopping list. DH has done loads of hoovering, I hope he hasn't overdone it.
I want to clean my stainless steel saucepans but I have too much stuff in the sink!6 -
Hello. I managed to keep the guests secret and also the surprise visit of DD1 home from uni.
DH is very pleased. I am completely exhausted but have managed to get rid of a bag of carp and the last kitchen cupboard plus extractor fan. I've also bought paint.
Chap in the paint shop said they weren't bothering re-pricing things because prices were going up so fast they couldn't keep up.
I find that quite scary.8 -
It is scary on price.

Guests gone (phew, I'm exhausted). Mountains of dishwashing done.
Tomorrow I have to do filling, painting and cleaning in prep for Weds which is aga day, woohoo!

A bit more done on the aga site (filling, cleaning, clearing, vacuuming). Tomorrow is aga day!
Took DD1 to train station as back to uni after a long weekend. I was sad until I realised she breaks up for Easter in a fortnight!
My pancakes were a disaster and stuck to the pan.7 -
I hope you were able to brush off your pancake disaster. I cheat and use the packets where you just add an egg and water...
Glad you won't have to miss your DD too long. I'm next due to see DS towards the end of May unless we meet up anywhere at Easter... No plans as yet...
Glad that your aga will be sorted soon. Sounds like it's been a huge amount of work and you have achieved loads. You too come across as very courageous.
