Great progress. I need to book optician too but waiting until there's more dosh in the bank... May perhaps get test done and then worry about it. May see if they will re-glaze existing.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

A good optician will re-glaze in my experience.
I failed to do that today. I did manage to find diesel for sale (169.9 p a litre).
There may be a small libation this evening but not too much as painting tomorrow!4 -
Yikes to that diesel price...

What will happen (I hope) is that folk will boycott them after the profiteering.
Brought DD2 to youth theatre today and it's 155p and plentiful.
Experienced a bit of sexism from a chap who saw fit to tap on my car to try to tell me how to park on the market square. I can park fine and I've driven accident free (if I don't count someone who hit me when I was stationary) since 1989. I got DH to get out and tell him we didn't need help, thanks.
I took a few goes because it's a huge car and I don't like to park on pavements or outside of parking bays.
Brass band are playing which is very jolly.
Ember is going to provide toasties for lunch. Normally we'd have pizza slices from Liddly, so we've saved on buying those.5 -
Irritating about unwanted advice. Nice to get out and about though. Trying to make myself go for a day trip to somewhere new. Hard to make myself go but will probably love it once there.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
