Thanks for the cheering on @debtfreewannabe321, @skint_spice, @Merlin's_Beard 😊
Chicken is defrosted, prepped and back in the cellar fridge. I have worked out cooking times so I know it has to go in at 9.45am, so not a crazy early start tomorrow 😊 My veggie roast and special sauce are out defrosting 😊
Mr KK enjoyed his trout for dinner tonight - it looked like a whale compared to his plate, but he manfully battled through it! 😉
We have discussed seating arrangements (MiL will be at the head of the table to ease off the inevitable gap of FiL not being with us) and when to open presents (2 phases - ours after breakfast and then mutual presents with MiL after lunch 😊). I think it should all work well 🤞
Finally, I just want to thank you for all your company, good cheer and advice over the last year. You are my conscience and my guide. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season, however you may or may not celebrate it, and I look forward to spending more time with you in 2026 🎄🎊🎉🤩😊

I hope your washing dried KajiKita - ours did well outside, and I got it in just about 3pm and stuck it in front of the dehu for 2hrs. It's in the drawers now, fully dry 👍
Sounds like you've tomorrow planned out beautifully, hope it all goes well for you, and that you have a wonderful time.

@Greying_Pilgrim, very nearly, it just needed warming through on the heated airer before being put away 😊

Small passing note … I asked Mr KK to buy me a new kneeler, weed membrane and membrane pegs for Christmas. I got the kneeler (in neon pink! 🤩❤️) but not the membrane nor the pegs so have just ordered them for myself! 😉
