@debtfreewannabe321, @beanielou, they’ve moved it again now to 4pm on the 19th! 🤷♀️ But @Brie, you will be glad to hear that because it’s a Friday afternoon it won’t interfere with work either 😉
Feeling absolutely shattered. I’m in that phase at the end of a bug where it wriggles and squiggles and does its absolute best to reinfect you before it leaves … 🙄 So, yesterday evening’s effort was a razor sore throat and today’s is heavy painful sinuses … I am dosed up!Managed to do the drive to get my hair cut thank goodness and we have just been out to choose a fresh Christmas tree, which Mr KK will keep in his garage in a bucket until we bring it in in the 20th. That was enough for both of us! Planning a quiet afternoon now.Mr KK is getting the Bedford ready for a presale inspection on Monday morning. It might actually sell ….?? This means we need to do a tip run tomorrow with the van to clear the rest of the junk on the drive (his back has been too bad until now) so he can get it out for a test drive. I will book a tip slot when he tells me a time. I’m also going to ‘treat’ him to some new windscreen wiper blades as his are choppy and noisy! We have such a good time here! 😂😂😉

Caught up on all my financial transactions and set up my YNAB sheet for December. Crazy amount of spending on ‘health’ stuff 😢 Hopefully that won’t be needed again for a while!Food spend is going up and up and up … Need to give that some focus in the new year and look at what I can do to reduce that.Started modelling a forecast on what OPs might be next year. Getting far more hopeful now that the monthly ‘auto’ OP of keeping our monthly payment at £1810 has some ‘heft’ to it (£47.21)! 😊 I will try and get into the habit of ringing coop every four months for an update on what our recalculated monthly minimum payment would be as I hope it will gradually increase …. This mortgage is a good deal financially but soooo clunky to work with! 🙄😉 I will finish my model early in the new year, when I have all the details of this year’s data to work with.
I’m sooooo crossing my fingers on the Bedford selling in the next week or two and actually getting a substantial contribution from Mr KK towards this mortgage 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 That would give me such a lift!

When we had a mortgage with the Coop, they sent a 7x10 random numbered grid square and you had to put in whatever they asked for ( C4, A7, F9) to log in. That was only 12 years ago. Technology? Nah! Paper Grid squares!!!!
The best thing about o/ps is that each one has more impact than the last one.

Ooh, fingers crossed for the sale! You've got a good standing OP there (i reckon you can round it up to £50 for the new year!) 😃
Laughing at the clunky mortgage 😂😂 when we took ours out you had to ring up for a balance 😂😂 fortunately the building society have now joined the 20th century (not quite 21st, they don't have an app yet 😂)4 -
Coventry BS still use the paper grid system for telephone baking. I found this out the hard way when I was trying to close my account and haven't a clue what I did with the bit of pape. Probably shredded it!
Hope he gets a good sale for the Bedford and a home he is happy for her to go to.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

I was going to mention that the last time I phoned Coventry ( a couple of years ago) they expected me to have the paper grid to hand. Now I try and do everything on the app.redofromstart said:Coventry BS still use the paper grid system for telephone baking. I apologise wholeheartedly to The Coop for mixing it up with The Cov , but it is nice to know so many of us share another common grid based financial experience . 🤣
