Managed to get some clearing done in the garden. Pruned a couple of roses - wrong time of year in some ways but they either were flapping around hopelessly in the wind or looked dreadful. Also cut back my honeysuckle quite hard after it had appeared to die in the dry spell and found some fresh growth on it so 🤞 it recovers. Also moved and restacked all my pots so Mr KK can continue path works. We have discussed slabs again and are in agreement - I’m getting what I want and my happy, cottage appropriate, completely hidden from everybody else, muddle stays 😉🤩Roasted the tomatoes, onions and sage and then blitzed into soup. It was extremely, almost eye wateringly tasty 😊😂 I have a double portion put down in the cellar to offset the January blues …Managed a couple of small surveys 😊
Saw the light levels drop swiftly and alarmingly and managed to get my summer frocks in from off the line before the next TORRENTIAL downpour. Mr KK gave up on path prep / building at that point and headed off to have a tinker in the garage 😊
Finished book 50 of 2025 - just two off my target for the year now. It was an unusual one for me - an espionage type one but from a 60 year old female perspective. I genuinely enjoyed it 😊
Dinner is prepped, just have to cook it 😊
Chloe is on good form - the neighbours have gone away so the three dogs are in kennels and the two aggressive cats are locked up as well … blissful peace and quiet. They move out the week they get back …! 😊😊😊😊😉
