Brew by the pond sounds lovely, we were discussing today how we can install wildlife pond and keep the dogs off (out of) it!Our big pond was my 50th birthday present from my parents (liner and felt) and we were having the drive put in so there was a mini digger on site which was happily diverted to the bottom of the garden to re sculpt the area and dig a big hole for £150 cash 😊 It brings us so much joy. It is so special when we find frogspawn or see the dried remains of dragonfly larvae on the grasses round the edge - it means we have given them a home ❤️

I finished the book on permaculture last night. What a truly wonderful read. So many genuinely useful ideas and guidance in it and so many ‘rules’ cheerfully torn up and thrown away 😊 Has made me feel really hopeful for my little patch 😊❤️

Wild life pond sounds lovely. i might go for a wild life bucket. Small enough that WattyDog will drink from it but not get in it. Come to think of it perhaps he shouldn't drink from it. I'll keep the hedgehog saucers and move swiftly on!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

I have my leaving date, 17th April and I don’t start the new job until the 28th so I get a good break in between 😊👏 I could have had a couple more days of leave, but there are things I need to finish off and a few more days of pay is not the end of the world 😉
When I got home last night, Mr KK cooked dinner and with the light evening I progressed moving the tonne bag of bark from the drive. Did another six barrowloads from the bag at the top of the garden to the copse at the bottom and started laying out paths in that area. Still not finished but progressed! I’m really pleased with the effect on the area, as it gives it a purpose and structure it has never had before and all the little plants I have been propagating from the garden will have somewhere to go now 😊
Really feeling it this morning, so will be having a gentler evening tonight! 😉

Glad it’s all going great over here and as said getting some time to garden
you are certainly having no issues getting jobs anyway !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
