Hahahaha … This is a perpetual chant going around my head atm. I texted my dad last night to ask if the flowers had been opened as I received a photo from the courier showing them on the front door mat. He fed back that they had been brought in and arranged and said what a good move I had made to ‘ameliorate the grumpiness about the clock change’. I replied saying that was EXACTLY why I had sent them and that I hoped it would make life easier for all of us. His reply was simply ‘A good move’ ….Humdinger1 said:Hope all goes well with phone call to mum @KajiKita! Remember, it's not you....xx

Busy, busy but happy day 😊
 - Ordered a new prescription! Meant to do this days ago, so I am glad this is sorted now 😊
 - Rang my mother. Least said etc but at least it’d done, she was delighted with the card, chocolates and flowers - Phew …
 - Cleaned bathroom and downstairs loo.- Folded my washing and put heated airer away! 👏
 - Dried a full load of Mr KK’s washing outside and folded it straight from the line to the wash basket for him to take up!
 - Repotted a foliage plant in the bathroom after wiping its leaves down and giving it a good drink. It looks a lot happier. 🪴- Put away a large bag of travel bits and pieces (travel towel, hairdryer, cables, adapters etc etc) that was left over from clearing the ex-work bags in the conservatory a while back.- Helped Mr KK clear a huge heap of fir branches that the electric cables company left in our garden from next door’s trees, all over our raspberries bed.- Did tip run with Mr KK and all the big dumpy bags of garden trimmings are GONE!! 😊👏 Along with various other bits and pieces.- Moved another 1/4 of the m2 bag of chipped bark - to under the contorted hazel and the cleared raspberry patch. They both look amazing 😊👏
 - Mr KK tackled a serious OAT - way back last summer, when we did the bathroom, we had a section of painters calk come away from the wall, looked messy. Finally, this evening, he has recalked it and it seems like it is sticking this time 🤞👏
Just need to sort tomorrow’s lunch and breakfast and I can flop 😊 12.4K steps today and I am feeling it 😉

I have to ask - OAT? I'm usually good at acronyms but the only one I can relate to is GOAT and that really doesn't fit 😁
 Very productive day indeed!2

Same here, I thought my cat mint had died over the winter but it is beginning to sprout. Glad I didn't remove it, I was a bit annoyed when I saw it initially as it wasn't a cheapie and the cat loves to roll on it - granted this behaviour would signal the death of many plants.KajiKita said:Found a cat mint that I thought had completely died last year was resprouting, so gave it a soak, tipped it out, ripped the weeds out of the root ball and completely repotted it.

I have two clumps of catmint, one either side of the pergola entrance. Next door’s cat eats the one on the right 🙄 but leaves the one on the left completely alone 🤷♀️😂 Logic and cats …?? 🤔😂teapot2 said:

My very bossy colleague asked me this morning if I was okay as we didn’t seem to talk much any more … So I told her I resigned last week. Her immediate response? To immediately shake my hand and to say very well done! I was a bit taken aback but very relieved. She’s of the view that I am not doing the job I interviewed for (very true!) and, in spite of what my boss might say, it isn’t like to change for at least a year … She seemed genuinely pleased for me and pretty fed up with the situation herself …
Beautiful evening so when we got home we had a brew by the pond together ❤️ 🤩
£5 (finally!) retrieved from IPS0S so sent off as an OP with a £1.70TT 😊👏
