  • So sorry this pain is still ongoing - those Mackenzie exercises sound great - I will have a look

I had a v bad car accident years ago which  caused huge ongoing pain in my neck as two vertebrae got squashed together - no mix of drugs and alcohol helped - acupuncture was the one thing that stopped me screaming then I did a course on Alexander technique to help me move better and not kick it off again - body awareness of posture is so important - hopefully it will calm down soon then he can start doing the yoga and those mackenzie ones to get his body more limber and pain free
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I would normally borrow Mr KK’s slippers for the removal but he was mid howl so I didn’t think it fair to disturb him for them … Used a washed out takeaway crayon with a piece of cardboard underneath
I read this as you usually trap the mouse in his slippers :D
I had to read it three times before thinking you might wear them for the release. I must not have had enough coffee yet.  Sorry for being dim, or maligning Mr KKs slippers.
Hope his nerve sproings free today, he must be exhausted.

Chloe looks gorgeous on the cushion.  Clearly it was waiting for its role in your home.
Sorry Mr KK still ongoing.   Hope relief comes soon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

This is where the problem is with the NHS lies. How can this not be an emergency. Just because there are no red flags. I once spent 4 hours on the floor with muscle spasms. Ambulance would not come out & GP advised us to call for ambulance. You could not make it up.

Gosh KK,it sounds exhausting for both of you 😕 Glad he's getting a few minutes of respite here and there at least. Hopefully some of the good advice here will be able to be put into motion at some point.

    Lovely picture of Chloe 🥰

Because pain is not an emergency to medics. I remember being told during first aid training, by a paramedic, they always check the quiet casualties first as those are often the ones that are at most risk of dying … I think this lack of recognition of pain and its impact is a major flaw.
