So sorry this pain is still ongoing - those Mackenzie exercises sound great - I will have a lookI had a v bad car accident years ago which caused huge ongoing pain in my neck as two vertebrae got squashed together - no mix of drugs and alcohol helped - acupuncture was the one thing that stopped me screaming then I did a course on Alexander technique to help me move better and not kick it off again - body awareness of posture is so important - hopefully it will calm down soon then he can start doing the yoga and those mackenzie ones to get his body more limber and pain freeDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

He had a bad night so I left him to sleep when I heard him snoring this morning (I heard him howling a couple of times in the night but it didn’t sound like he was calling me so I left him to it). Getting out of bed set it off again and we have had another couple of hours of howling agony. He’s currently head down in the sofa, knees on the floor, at peace for a minute as the latest attack seems to have finally passed. I suspect he is too scared to move.Yes, Chloe is very good at looking regal. That’s exactly the word - thank you 😉😊
Thanks @watty1 and @LadyWithAPlan, acupuncture could be a good shout.

This is where the problem is with the NHS lies. How can this not be an emergency. Just because there are no red flags. I once spent 4 hours on the floor with muscle spasms. Gosh KK,it sounds exhausting for both of you 😕 Glad he's getting a few minutes of respite here and there at least. Hopefully some of the good advice here will be able to be put into motion at some point.
