Just catching up KK 😁 hope you're feeling better now?
I remember the old postcards at the JC. I didn't mind going there back then. The last time I went was with my mum who was just turning 60 and she had just had a hip replacement - like weeks before. They demanded to know what she was doing about getting herself a job! I am glad I was there to put them straight .... She would have just sat and been told off!!
I couldn't actually believe my ears!

To be fair having worked there if a member of staff was in the same post operation situation they would be being challenged about a prompt return to work themselves so were probably required to follow somewhat ill conceived guidance

Just caught up with your diary from April. So sorry to hear about everything you have been through . Congratulations on your new job and as in my OH case sometimes a “forced” change leads to a much happier choice of role, I hope that happens in your case and from your earlier posts about the  interview the signs look good
  • Oh that's going to be lovely. Great gift Mr KK.

we always suspended austerity for Christmas and holidays. I'd rather have  a guilt free £40 on the treat budget than a meal out sometimes.

Me too. But not a lot - about half what she would normally eat - I will try her on a pack of Sh3ba tomorrow, just to switch it up a bit.

It’s amazing how such a little creature can absorb so much headspace! 😉😂❤️

One other small win to share from today: I got out in the garden long enough to get the (very well! 😳) rooted, potted up garlic in the ground 😊

Feels like next seasons growing season has begun now 😊

I can highly recommend Pet Remedy as an alternative to Feliway, we find it much more effective at calming the cats when they get fractious or stressed.

Very stinky stuff at first, quite "earthy" but we have got quite used to the smell - we had a diffuser which sprayed every hour or so which desensitised us. Now we just use the room spray as needed.
