  • Love your reiki reasoning, I live in a family of meat eaters (organic only, but it’s stilll meat), I’m vegetarian. This is something I’m
going to look into more as I’m intrigued .

  • I haven't heard of doing reiki on a dead animal to help it ... Hasn't its soul already left the body by then? Although I am understanding the trauma left in the body because it's one of the reasons why I won't eat meat. I believe the trauma it's been through makes it as a food item very low vibrational quality (as opposed to high vibrational fruit lets say) and can make us sick. As well as those of us who are empathic suffer with IBS and other illness long term (again my views I don't care if anyone else doesn't think like this but would appreciate no hate 🙏🏼) so...the reiki...I will have to look this up back to the point as DS2 eats meat here still every now and then. The rest of us choose not to but he does have it occasionally when he fancies it. I may have try reiki on it as he ends up sick a lot after a big meal of steak for example.

I've never heard of doing reiki on meat before eating it (but having been vegetarian for almost 30 years I've never really had occasion to consider it). I'm certainly in no position to judge having given all of our beloved pet chickens a proper funeral and burial (although admittedly not reiki, even while they were alive)
  • I celebrated the end of seven years of vegetarianism by eating an entire packet of ham in one sitting.
We all gotta do what we gotta do.

I gave my chickens and dog reiki when they were sick they all loved it. Dog would even lay there and let me put crystals on him

  • I know nothing about reiki, but having been a vegetarian since the age of 14 I applaud you. My family are all meat eaters, and I share how you feel about having a corpse in the house. It happens only at Christmas and I hate it.

Interesting thought on the reiki. The thing I struggle with with reiki is sending reiki to things that have happened in the past.

Interesting. i often think about returning to being a veggie or vegan.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
