I was once having a discussion with a bloke I’d worked with for 3 years and in conversation he thought I was a single parent as there was never any photos of DH on my FB - they where all of my DS and me away on holiday. (My DH hated holidaying in England so DS and I went away every school to different bits of the UK)

I did drag Mr KK down the chapel 😊
We helped bolster the coffers and came away with cake 😉
Another costume change, back into scruffs again! We loaded the van between us and then I refilled the fridge whilst Mr KK drained the radiator on the Bedford, rearranged the bottom garage to fit the loft ladder in that we still haven’t installed …
Lunch, tip run - very satisfying - we got rid of a lot! 💪👏
When we got back I took a bowl of warm soapy water 100 yards up the lane and washed the Perspex fronts of the village noticeboard made by Mr KK two years ago, that had gone completely GREEN (worthy of Blackadder green!).Mr KK had a spontaneous visitor appear. I, in the meantime, had the luxury of an early shower followed by lots of cross stitch time.DIY currry night (we buy SM curries and fluff them up a bit), followed by Strict-ly - OMG, those pink vinyl pants Pete was wearing …!! 😳😂😂😂😂A cracking day 😊

I forgot the best thing! 😊 The shelf divider is done! 👏
Before - chopping boards and baking trays are stored horizontally in a cupboard, wasting loads of space …
After - shelf in the narrow cupboard adapted for storing boards and trays vertically, at chest height. Way easier to get to what you want and the original cupboard can be used for many other things!KKAs at 15.08.25:

Ooh that is a good idea on the divider. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I had a cupboard like that put in my last kitchen. I will be having one in the next one. (Have I mentioned that I hate my current kitchen?).2

That divider is v useful !My pot lids also have a mind of their ownDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Absolutely brilliant divider. I'm going to have a look at my cupboard with the laid down stuff in it this morning! Any ideas for plastic tubs and lids please?

I care little for the divider as I currently have no kitchen but with you on Pete’s pink trousers. Surprised that went out before the watershed 😂😂😂2

@skintspice, @redofromstart, @greenbee - yes, just once or twice 😂, @LadyWithAPlan and @SandyShores - I’m glad the divider pleases you 😊 I totally ❤️ it and I know it’s a really good design solution, as I haven’t looked for the boards or trays in the wrong place once!As for plastic tubs and lids ….I am starting by checking what are pairs.
I will then segregate by type.
Look at how much of each type there is, get rid of any crazy excess and find larger boxes to contain them in, by type.
Some will stay in the drawer they are in now, others will decamp to the cupboard that previously held the chopping boards etc …
Not very inspiring I know 🤷♀️😉
