How you bring yourself back up is with sleep, sleep, sleep. Let your mind and body, process and recover.
It is proper autumn tomorrow so embrace the hygge and read under a blanket with ample biscuits (in between sleeps).
Bloody well done you gal, you made it through and you made it out!2 -
Big hugs to you, well done for making it through with your head held high xxx1

Sending more hugs too. What an emotional day. Lovely to read how much your team appreciated you.Now rest and be very kind to yourself. It’s been a traumatic few weeks which in itself is exhausting. This too will pass.2

Thanks once again all 😊
@f0xh0les, funnily enough I was thinking about my reading target as I was driving home yesterday …. 😉 That, along with shoulder physio and various other things I was doing for myself, have fallen by the wayside in recent months. Time to gradually pick them up again. 😊
@redofromstart, I didn’t sleep that well but that’s to be expected I think. Woke at 5.30am on automatic, used the loo in the dark and snuggled down again to listen to the rain …. Didn’t think I would sleep again but I must have dosed off as my light alarm woke me at 7am (in time to see Mr KK before he went out to work 😊❤️). I’m not feeling guilty interestingly, but my head is still full of work. It will gradually get overwritten … 😊Theoretically there is someone coming today to start the external rendering but the weather is so awful I’m kind of hoping he doesn’t …. It would be lovely to just have some ‘no people’ time!Little cats have burnt themselves out with play fighting etc, so all is quiet here. George has gone out in the rain again and Chloe is curled up in Mr KK’s seat next to me.No great plans for today. I do want to do some (gentle!) yoga and my shoulder physio. I might get some of the lettuces in the ground in the greenhouse and repot the office cacti, but that’s about the limit of my ambitions! 😊

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3
