Loving the cat tales … and already they are in control of the KK householdDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

In other news ….
I have potted up the cotoneaster that was growing out of the garage downpipe 😂 for someone who is planting up one of the local village hall gardens and was asking for them on the local FB page 😊
Plumber turned up and after a LOT of fiddling and wet floor, managed to seal the leak at the bottom of the bathroom radiator. 👏😊
Mr KK finally finished the truck rebuild and we went out for a couple of miles - just to check that she rattles, rumbles, shakes and grinds just like she should - she does and that means Mr KK goes to the ball, sorry, the vehicle show, tomorrow until Sunday 😊❤️ It will do him good (he is taking many books with him) and I get to start my week off alone and in silence - utter bliss 😊
All of that, following on from an after work meeting, meant neither of us sat down until 9.30pm - I’m just about to go to bed! 😂

Hope your last day in before the break was an improvement - and either way that the next 9 days nurture your soul.
Well done on getting sub £250K.
Laughed at the kitten antics. My cat was looking most horrified today - and I realised there was also an intruder cat with similar colouring on the upper terrace of the garden aka narrow strip...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have clean sheets on my bed, the house to myself (Mr KK and his truck are both safely ensconced at the steam rally 😊), the cat-monkeys are fed, the house is very warm, the forecast for the week, looks pretty good. I’m happy 😊
How very dare another cat intrude on your cat’s patch! 😳😉😂
