Messy Cat Eaters Unite! 😂😂 I came down to something revolting on the oak floor in the dining room this morning … I have no idea what it was but I was starting to retch when cleaning it up - thanks Cats! 🙄😂

Still haven’t manage to sleep in yet, keep waking at my normal work get up time. 🤷‍♀️ But I am starting to feel more rested. Trip to the plant centre this morning 🌱🪴 and then lunch with one of my old Sifus and his new girlfriend 😊 Should be fun. He’s been made redundant yet again 😢, so I will ask him up front whether we are talking about that today or are we just spending time together as friends? 😊

Need to start looking at new energy deals as ours predates the Ukraine war and will end in October this year. I will submit current readings so we clean up our outstanding consumption before we move. 

I also want to start cleaning / sorting stuff for the bathroom and generally tidying up. More knitting needs to happen and I might break out a new crafting kit whilst I have the energy to concentrate on it 😊

I feel very lucky today 😊

In the meantime the Little Cats are playing with their Very Best New Toy - the pergola 😊❤️

Gorgeous cat pics.  Makes me sad that the feral does not get to go out but WattyDog would chase her relentlessly outside and WattyDog has a very firm line on no critters of any kind in his garden except humans and the dogs of my friends,

My right shoulder is giving me gyp - not exactly sure why but it’s irritating and woken me up the past few nights. In spite of this over the past few days I have:
- done lots of knitting - I am half way down the last ball of wool 😊
- cleaned the kitchen floor in front of where the Little Cats eat - George especially has a penchant for lifting food out of his bowl and eating it from the floor! This is a job I need to keep on top of now.

I'm wondering if there might be a connection somewhere.....

re cats and their bad table manners.  I got a nice plastic place mat to go under the bowls.  Make cleaning much easier as long as they didn't get too adventurous with their food.

I have a glass worktopsaver under a rubber cat mat and related bowls to help reduce the cat impacts but it's not perfect.

I have a mat under the cats bowls which i suppose helps just a wee bit.

@Brie, tbh I think the shoulder issue dates from trying to help Mr KK load rubble into a big skip at the tip. I remember it was a real struggle for me as the lip of the skip was slightly higher than my shoulders and I just didn’t have the strength. I think I wrenched something then which has got worse with gardening. 

@watty, feral cat wouldn’t just bop Watty-Dog on the nose or just retreat, in a superior way, to a high perch …? 

I’m so glad I am not the only one with messy feline feeders! 😂

I’m having real issues with the forum atm - I keep clicking on bookmarks on my saved list and it takes me to the beginning of the thread rather than the latest comments and is also signing me out. When I click on ‘Bookmarks’ again, it all seems to work again 🤷‍♀️ Also, I can’t seem to update my signature 🙄 Maybe my iPad is on its way out …? 😳😢

In more constructive news, I have been looking at new energy deals for us and it looks like the best option is the cephalopods 😊 I can’t move from where I am atm without a £60 exit fee until 13th August but that should give me time to get a reasonable deal before everything starts moving around in early September. It will still cost us an extra £50 pcm (only based on estimated usage), but compared to what others have had to pay over the past couples of years I am soooo grateful for the tariff we have been on.

I have heard others say they have been unable to edit their signature, I think a character limit has been introduced for signatures. If your edited signature exceeds this, you can not save the new one, so you revert to your existing signature.

There is now a character limit on signatures. Can’t remember what it is.
