So lovely @CCW007, none of my cats ever sleep touching, or even in the same room if they can help it.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Slept very badly - will change to summer duvet to see if that helps. Two loads of washing done and brought in from the line - just! Blowing an absolute hooley all day here!Attended a climate change session organised by the chair of the PC - genuinely interesting to talk about some of the things we could do on a local / individual level. We got out after lunch and staked my Christmas present tree. We then worked together on removing muddy grass from in front of the bins (the black bin is seeing a lot of action thanks to our new house mates! 😉) and built up a sort of path / hard standing, using whatever we had to hand. Mr KK then continued disassembling his latest bike restoration whilst I battled on through one of the weedy veg beds. Comfortably hit 10K steps c. an hour ago. Before - quite sloping and getting quite muddy:After. C. 4 inches of half inch to dust with a few left over bits of fireplace hearth and other remnants from the garden. Not perfect but at least we won’t slip now and our feet will stay drier 😊
we recycled the turf to some of the gaps from removing shrubs in the front garden a few weeks ago and the dug out top soil went to top up one of the veggie beds 😊
Chicken fajitas tonight for himself, subbing quorn and fresh mushrooms for me 😊

Good work in the garden, well done!
I considered doing some washing earlier, but the forecast said it was going to start raining about 3pm and I didn't think there was enough time to dry. It's still not raining now, and the amount of wind we've had everything would have dried nicely! Although having said that, there's barely anything in the basket right now so it's not a big loss. I do like washing blowing on the line though!4
