In other news, our washing machine is U/S - I believe it to be the brushes. After watching various videos and getting Mr KK to help me with some of the electrical connectors (so stiff!) we have got it out of the machine and I will order some new ones tonight. Mr KK’s dirty clothes have a date with our next door neighbour’s washing machine tomorrow morning! 😉Mr KK has done all the plasterboard lining of the new window reveals and put on the windowsills today and foamed around both new windows. We are celebrating with a Chinese takeaway 😊❤️🎉🤩 They have changed the room so much 😊

I don’t drink alcohol and Mr KK only drinks red wine. White chocolate is too sweet for me now after years of eating nothing but dark chocolate. It literally makes my teeth ‘itch’, eating something that sweet. 😊

A good start to the day: sent another £5 to OP from doing Pr1me surveys 😊
Floof is on the bed with us, rotating between having a licky-clean and being spark out, wheezing, with no apparent logic or trigger for switching between states 😉❤️
We are skipping the tip run this morning. I need to negotiate getting washing done at the neighbours’, we had no time to load vehicles yesterday and we are both shattered.

Loving the raffle prize! Also
like the randomness of a prize.I love white choc but it doesn’t love me
could you maybe cook with it or grate over a dessert ice cream etc
the windows and new room sound fabulous / but I understand the dust and general where is that thing that normally lives where our windows used to be type chaos - it will soon be worth itDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
