Finally done my financial tracking updates. I can see from the CC balance that I will be lucky to get much of an OP this month (mainly due to my £700 crown) unless I take it from savings. I will debate that with myself at the end of the month when I get paid.

Took my half of the AA renewal cost from the YNAB budget for it!! <Happy Dance for having a YNAB pot for a known intermittent cost for the first time - feels like a big step forward for me! 🎉🤩🥳>
Mr KK needs to send over his half and I can then transfer that to our joint account that the payment is coming from.
91p TT from joint account to OP 😉
I can see that I have spent a LOT on the garden this month (one lump is for seeds for the long term, joint project of really developing our meadow area 😊). Time to stop! 😉

Mr KK’s first load of washing is on the line and he is filling in the gap above the patio doors - a hot job to be doing today! I have set his second load of washing going too. One other job I have managed this morning is wiping down the inside of the cab and all the shuts on my car so that it’s nicer for us to use for our day trips this week. Now sat in front of a fan as I am just too HOT! (I need to be sensible as just hanging out Mr KK’s washing had me absolutely gasping! 😳)

Certainly is warm today! 😮 Well done for the AA cost! It's a great feeling, isn't it? 😃

Making some small progress on earning options ….
    - Weare8 are sending me things to watch now.
    - IPSOS are sending me surveys.

Neither are going to make me rich but it kills some time. 😊

Slowly slowly. Not feeling quite so peculiar but as soon as I start doing too much (walking up the garden with a basket of dry washing) I start wheezing badly. Even Mr KK is being vaguely sympathetic! 😉

Well I'm all caught up now. Sorry you got ill just as your holiday started - could be an adrenaline crash - in which case vit C could help - or lots of other things going around currently.

Well done on the planted border - it looks gorgeous - as does your new patio doors. Your views are stunning.

I hope the counselling is still going well.

Sounds like you are getting great results at work.

    Brave effort! 😉

I think you’re right - it’s a combination of crash and current bugs I think. Feeling even worse again this morning 🙄 super delicious sinus infection now …. Bah.

I am really, really pleased with the border. It was tough going to do but can be seen from so many places it was well worth the effort. The views are why we live here, in spite of the crazy mortgage amount! 😉

The counselling (thank you for asking 😊) has evolved from talking about work, as I seem to be coping better now (and there was a pressure cooker moment that shook the whole management team, shifted the dynamics) and the counsellor is encouraging me to look at other things with the remaining three sessions. I suppose I should go tonight but I have asked if I could have a week off this week.

Work is tough but having its rewarding moments now. I seem to have shifted from a very tough grind of just about surviving, to surfing from one crazy wave top to the next. I suspect I will have a new problem soon of whether or not I can offer the younger members of the team the development and growth that they want, especially as my boss seems very inclined to hold people back / not recognise that they have evolved but his perception of them has not. Actually, now I have put that into words, that is something to chew over with HR when I get back …

Small win. Cleared the dining room table (MAJOR junk accumulator!) and the table cloth is in the washing machine. Cracking day for drying it on the line too 😊
