Putting my intention here for this evening:Next week I want to do some self care cooking. I am thinking beetroot bourginion (to use up the cooked beet in the freezer), some nice biscuits to go in the freezer (so at least my junk when I get home from work is non-UPF, maybe try another couple of new recipes and ways of eating veg that I have acquired from here and elsewhere. To do this I need to find my recipes …. which are buried in stacked boxes in the snug …. Can’t unpack the boxes into my bookcase until Mr KK has finished building in the lintel in the snug (the bookcase has to remain movable until this work is complete) so this evening’s tasks will be a big job of unpacking, picking through to find what I want and repacking ….
If I get it done tonight though, I can define my menu or food options, order my ingredients on Friday night for my grocery delivery on Saturday morning and start my week off eating well (and exactly what I like!) as Mr KK is away this weekend ….
Wish me luck!

I did manage to fish out the cookbooks last night, but didn’t manage to actually look at them! That’s a job for this evening’s sofa 😊
Tiring, intense but productive day in work - I even moved desks! But not thinking about that now, as I am now on HOLIDAY FOR 9 DAYS!!! 🎉🤩🥳👏🌞🌟🍹 Whoop ….Popping out now to harvest toms and runners ….

I have woken up with a raging sore throat, a horrible dry cough, a thick head and a sore back. Pretty fed up. Excuse me whilst I sulk on the first day of my holiday! Bah. 😞

Mini win. QM33 has been hopeless this week - struggled to earn 50p a day. Just netted a £2.31 questionnaire so pushed through the £5 barrier. I have cashed out and am sending £5.13 off to OP 😊 That’s made me feel a bit better.KKAs at 15.07.25:

Oh no, that's usually me on the first day of hols - I think having worked so hard and not been able to be sick it then happens as soon as you relax. Hope it passes soon.
Desk move - love a desk move in a new job - really feels like you're making the space your own and can settle in as no longer a newbie.
Have a lovely break away from work, sulking allowed for a day or two"Think of many things, do one"

Thank you for the sulking permission. I was starting to feel a bit better so sulking mode was retreating. However, I have just found a barf patch on the fabric seat of one of the armchairs in the conservatory - thanks cat! 🙄 Sulk mode fully engaged once again!! 😂skint_spice said:Hope you feel better soon and have a great holiday 🎉🎉🎉
