Time to start a Fresh part 2, 2022!

Evening all, so my main work has let go of 2 people in the last two weeks and now handed out 3 redundancy notices. So if worst comes to worst I’ll go back to sainsburys

Agreed! But, I’m keeping my hopes up as we was told we’re safe as long as the business can now make money. But sainsburys have said that I can go back to them if I ever wanted too

Hopefully not but I’m also going to keep my eyes open if there’s anything else out there that I could apply for if needed

How many years have you worked there. At least you know you wouldn’t be completely stuck and could go back to Sainsburys until you found something more suitable. Keep my fingers crossed for you.

Evening all,

so my plan this evening is to sit myself down properly and budget right from the start including recreating my SOA and seeing where I could save some pennies! I’ve gone a lot off track recently and with my main job possibly hanging in the balance I want to make sure I can survive on Sainsburys pay if I needed to go back! Time get to get my bum into gear again!

Must be a bit unsettling for you not knowing what might happen with your main job! Hope that the business starts making money so you can carry on working there but good to know you have Sainsbury's as a back up.

I’m torn as I was ready to leave the place a few months back. I guess that’s a plus, I know I’m employable. I hope so too as I enjoy it more now than I used to. Yeah agreed, fingers crossed!
