Oh how adorable is Django! That walk reminds me of one we've done when we've been up near Ludlow - there's a great walk up a hill opposite the campsite we usually camp on with incredible views from the top!
Well done on picking yourself up from your blip pre-christmas. Remember this is a long-haul thing - you will have peaks and troughs - the trick is to recognise it and work out what you need to do to reincentivise yourself, which it seems as though you've very much done!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Oh sounds fab!!
Thank you, agreed. I did bring my own coffee to work today so I wouldn't buy my usual £3 coffee. But I am also very very tired today. I do hope you didn't look as k n ackered as Django did after your walk. You are doing so well paying off your debts. You didn't accumulate them in 5 minutes so you are not going to get rid of them in 5 minutes. I can't remember has 118 money defaulted? If so, no harm in trying.

I’d be tempted to go back and reiterate that that is all you have and is an absolute stretch and if they don’t want to accept it then you will settle a different debt and continue with your payments until the absolute end. They may have a rethink if they know you can’t haggle. You might actually be able to settle 4 of your smallest ones by making lowish offers to settle those instead for the same amount? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Evening all,
Im waiting to hear back from 118 but I very much doubt they'll go lower than 25% which is annoying but nothing can be done I guess. I'll just continue to pay £20 a month to them instead.
This week I should hear from Sainsburys if they plan on keeping me or not. If so I know I can rebudget how much I pay towards my debts etc rather than increase everything now and then have to change it all back in March.
My main goal was pay the £1980 loan first and pay minimum to the smaller ones, but I'm just going to have to wait and see what happens with Sainsburys and if 118 come back with a lower offer.
Not much going on this evening, I'm going to make work lunch for tomorrow and get my sainsburys uniform ready. I'm working there now non stop until 13th. It will be tiring but the thought of being debt free this year will motivate me! Also its OH birthday this month and our anniversary so I plan on making something for his birthday and getting some sweets or something! Don't want to spend a lot. I also want to buy something for my cricut machine but I cant afford it right now (could clear pay/Klarna it but choosing not to) so my plan is to keep some money at the end of the month and purchase it then, who knows by the end of the month I might not even want it anymore aha!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards.
