Morning all, 

So I've been thinking once this debt is paid and hopefully I still work with Sainsburys, I want to get myself a new car. Both my past cars have been Audi TT MK1 and they've post cost me more than they are worth. Which currently doesn't help when you're in debt. So I want to  start a budget to get finance IF I can due to my credit score (this isn't for a while yet so just brainstorming) I'm hoping my credit score will become better, no I'm not hoping it will just jump over night once my last debt payment is paid.

Anyone with car finance suggest some tips? Again this is just an idea but I do need a newer car

I've been decluttering our bedroom and I used to collect beanie boo soft toys and I've got loads. So I decided to put some on Vinted to see if they would sell, only cheap at £1 each and on Vinted when you purchase you can bundle items so it works out cheaper as they get a better. I managed to sell all the beanie boos within 5 minutes and made £10

Best tip I can offer you on car finance would be to get something a little less "snazzy" than an Audi TT - that'll reduce your insurance costs too!

insurance isn't too bad actually, it's around £55

Evening all,

So update on Sainsburys, my manager who deals with the holidays and contracts has gone off due to a family bereavement so not sure how long she's off, but my issue is... my contract with Sainsburys runs out on the 5th of March and no one know who's dealing with that side of things now, so I'm hoping someone deals with it asap as I could no longer have a job at Sainsburys due to no one knowing what's what besides the manger who is currently off. Hopefully get sorted within a few days. 

On a lighter note, with my Sainsburys pay let's say average £500 (the systems are down in work, have been for months so they guesstimate pay currently) anyway, I have two pays before the 5th of March with Sainsburys so I plan on using £400 from each pay and paying it towards the 118 Loan that's sitting at £1940. So, if I throw £800 at it, that takes me to £1140. So if Sainsburys works out whats what I should be able to pay that Loan within 4 months. Which to me is the most annoying one as it's such a large number it looks like it will take months to pay (currently pay £20PM) 

Lets hope all goes well!

Hopefully your manager won’t be off too long. I’d rather pay the smaller debts off so I had less creditors but that’s just a personal preference it’s makes no difference in the overall totals since no one is charging you interest. 

My friend is looking to buy a second hand car and she says the prices gave rocketed not sure the reason why though.

Yeah hopefully and yeah I see your point but my larger debt is basically half my whole debt so once that's gone I've got less than 2k to pay back!

Oooh, yeah it's because China is having issues getting chips for newer cars so second hand cars have rocketed. My friend bought a 21 plate Audi but there's a six month delay so she's getting a 22 plate instead. She also traded her car in for more than she originally paid for it
