  • You are going to struggle to be able to travel without a vaccination or medical exemption for probably years to come. I also don't think you'll get a refund without a medical exemption as it would be your choice not to travel.
  • Covid 19 is now just a cold, and the pandemic is virtually over as we all get herd immunity to this cold. Restrictions and even testing are all ramping down. It's now time to return to normal and live with it - not lockdown and restrict peoples movement every 5 minutes. That makes vaccinations (which only last 6 months before the immunity wanes anyway) irrelevant to this discussion.

I don’t follow your argument that vaccinations are irrelevant , how did you come to that conclusion? Children are still being vaccinated against polio which has all but disappeared in the West and when I travelled to Africa I had vaccinations for diseases I’ve never even heard of.

I do agree that this is now hopefully burning itself out, but I imagine a scenario where I get my Covid jab every year along side my flu one. This is especially important with many countries who won’t have much herd immunity or antibodies, either through a policy of isolation or being unable to vaccinate much of their population - and not willing to let us in without a jab.

Not just travel, but we are already seeing people could lose their jobs and entitlement to sick pay.
I think an NHS tax is possible (and don’t forget popular) in future - just as we tax smokers, drinkers etc.

so anyone who just hasn’t got round to it, too busy, too lazy is just mad not to get started with this.
