I understand that thankyou trainerman and was not directing anything towards anyone, you have all been great helping me and i appreciate that immensely, i just wish i was 20 years younger i would have handled it so much better, never broke any rules in my life or committed any offences so when this was thrown at us it became worrying, a lot of money involved for something i did not do, and i think the stress has come out in me, just want it to be all over and done with, i try not to think about it every day but it seems it is always there, thankyou and take care

As Le_Kirk says .....  You still haven't committed any offences!
As these two tickets were placed on the car and UKPC failed to respect a grace period, It sounds like their wardens are on a commission again which is not allowed and can be deemed as fraud.
UKPC know all about fraud  as you know

I wonder if DCBL know about these timings ?   I doubt it because DCBL seem to believe everything UKPC says without question ?   DCBL are on a fools errand and I think you should not stress yourself but more enjoy what will follow.  This forum is the only one that beats these dodgy claims time after time

Stop stressing, with this one, DCBL will get another court spanking.
We do wonder, how many spankings DCBL will take before they realise their name is trashed

And I hope you read the thread about UKPC and CST Law who crashed out in Scotland .... right now DCBL are playing Russian roulette which is not in the remit of the SRA

Nobody is alleging that you or your partner broke a rule , apart from the claimant UKPC inferring it ( assumption , not fact )

Nobody is alleging that you or your partner broke any rules ( apart from the claimant UKPC inferring or assuming )

Nobody is alleging that you or your partner have one something wrong ( apart from the claimant UKPC inferring or alleging )

This is where you were or are going wrong in your thinking

It may be that the registered keeper has liability for an alleged breach of contract , using a law named POFA , or it may not !

You must agree that initially a registered keeper may have liability for any transgressions their vehicle picks up ? No tax , or no mot , or no insurance , or a bald tyre , or speeding , or dangerous driving , or parking in a one hour bay for 2 hours , or driving in a bus lane , or entering a box junction , or making an illegal turn , or a hit and run , etc etc

It can be that VRM details are taken and a notice sent to the keeper , to find out who was driving , not complying can result in a prosecution of the keeper , even if they are a law abiding exemplary citizen like you !

The PCN s sent out by UKPC probably invited payment , or name the driver , they got neither , so are trying to hold the RK defendant responsible and liable , hence the court claim

Putting your name on a V5C can have serious ramifications , even for a law abiding citizen !  😁😁

Pensioner's are not exempt , even Prince Philip found that out a few years ago !

What about the dashboard evidence, did you say there was a handwritten note each time?  Whose writing and what did it say or is it not clear from the pics?

Is it clear both times that there is no permit?

Is there a pic both times of a sign actually in the same photo as the car?

Hi Coupon-mad, here are the pics of the car and signs on both dates, there was only one handwritten note on one date as shown in the photo, i have deleted address, whose writing it is i have no idea, it seems quite clear to read, i was actually going to write to the address, explaining the situation and ask if they lived there at the time, if so would they give me the name of the person who drove car, i thought that might help in my defence to show the judge, but it seems in answers on here it is to late for me to try and trace the driver as it has gone past that stage now, thankyou
