Good Day Fellow Forum Dwellers,
I trust you are all well and enjoying this most British of summers.
Just to keep you all abreast of where we are with this debacle, we have now received the following:
N149A Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track
N180 Directions questionnaire (small claims track) (03.19)
EX730 Would you like to settle your case without going to a court hearing? (03.17)
Note: Following the advice of System in the following thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/71763411#Comment_71763411
We will not be requesting mediation.
Form N180 completed as per the directions, returned the original to the CCBC, copy sent to Premier Parking Solutions (is this correct or should it be to their representitives BW Legal?), copy kept for file.
Just the one point regards clarification to whom the completed N180 is returned.
Again thank you for your time and sage advice in this matter.
Yours in the cause

PPS are essentially out of the picture for communication purposes once they've instructed solicitors. Whenever a court instruction directs documents to be filed on the Claimant, where a solicitor is involved, it is to them.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you have the new N180 that suggests the case could be decided without a hearing please read the thread about it earlier in June, by @Grizebeck.
A big fat NO but you need to explain reasons if this is a new N180. Maybe yours is one of the 'no hearing' pilot courts?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My thoughts align with yours regards to whom one sends the copy, as it clearly states on the N149A form, the Claimant is PPS Ltd. Not BW Legal their representatives. However the advice in the forum states "You send a copy to the courts and another copy to the Claimant company." Hence my asking the question as there is to me some abiguity.Do we a) send the copy to PPS Ltd as the claimant company OR b) to BW legal the claimants legal representatives OR c) to cover ones rear end send a copy to both?Again thank you for your reply.Yours Aie!!Vlad_The-Inhaler0

Your County Court Claim Form has a box on it labelled Claimant.
Immediately below that is a box entitled...Address for sending documents and payments (if different).
From that, you should be able to work out where to send stuff.3 -
Good Day fellow forum dwellers,I trust you are all well and that the merchants of doom with winter coming are not causing you too much angst.Just to keep you all up to speed on this case, we are now in receipt of a Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing). The district judge decided that it should be allocated to "the small claims track"To be open with you all, I am growing weary of this seemingly never ending grind of what basically boils down to highway robbery, albeit without a firearm...It is an exercise in micromanaging paperwork with tripwires at every step to ensure you make a mistake and they then can steal a wad of money from you. Is this seriously how life should operate in this day and age?Perhaps it is...Keep well fellow forum dwellers.Yours Aye!Vlad_The_Inhaler1

You will be a good person to respond to the Public Consultation later this year as you have a way with words and a story to tell about how the scam 'works'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You will be a good person to respond to the Public Consultation later this year as you have a way with words and a story to tell about how the scam 'works'.Thank you for your kind words Coupon-mad, they are heartfelt.I would gladly assist with trying to put to bed this utter farce of a scam. I fully understand the need to contribute towards the upkeep of parking places and preventing their misuse, but it is now well beyond what is reasonable. It amazes me that even when one pays to use "their facilites", you are still put through what must be termed "threats, harrassment and intimidation" with blatent lies in their letters endeavouring to take what is not their due.Now I must spend even more time putting together a defence and ensuring it reaches both the court and those harrassing us before the deadline.Keep well Coupon-mad and again thank you for your kind reply.Yours Aye!Vlad_The_Inhaler1
