Enjoy Canada. Hope it's as great for you as you believe.
Personally, I couldn't imagine anything worse than being sent to live in Canada - it always seemed rather ...large and dull... I'd miss all my loved ones and the things and people that make England special.
Still, we're all different, which is one of the wonderful things about the world.
Still not sure why you felt the need to come and rant/gloat on here before you went, but as long as it's got it out of your system...
In that case why did you feel the need to offer your opinion of living in Canada?0 -
entering competitions is very very very hard work if you do it seriously and want to make some serious money out of it:rolleyes:
I also wrote articles for magazines which is a nice little earner.
You have to be organised, methodical, imaginative and quick witted, slogan comps usually reap the best rewards.
Mind you I did win a car with a free prize draw and freepost:rotfl: no effort required
For me it was more than a full time occupation ie many hours each and every day. Although nothing like "work" as it is really enjoyable and rewarding.
Like most things you get out what you put in.
A hobby I would recommend to any mse fan.I found my eutopia tee hee I live in canada yeehaa!0 -

Why shouldn't those on the receiving end know that Squatnow isn't a squatter, and has never owned a house, yet sees fit to tell homeowners what to do? 5 minutes of googling is hardly stalking.
Yet it is interesting to know Squatnow started his career at the HPC forum (naturally), under the name casa the anarchist, where he finishes this discussion by inciting a serious criminal act:
http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=49031
Or this discussion where he suggests tenants ruin their credit rating and get a court judgement by not paying rent:
http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=49165&hl=squatnow
Squatnow is free to post anything he likes within the rules of this forum. We are entitled to reply, and question his true motivation, which seems to be good old fashioned hatred and ignorance.
Wow, you get so riled up by posts on a forum that you 'stalk' the person over the internet to find as many personal details about them as you can, so that you can then use them to embarrass/ harass the person on said forum.
You even seem be really proud of your somewhat psychotic actions.
Personally, I suggest you seek help for your obviously obsessive tendencies.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

like obsessions with a HPC, I reckon we could keep a few therapists going for a few years from this board(mind all the therapists will then be rolling in cash and start BTL and start another price boom, vicious circle)0 -

The best bit it, if you follow the links, it's clearly obvious to everyone except him that the "inciting a serious criminal act" bit was humour. Either he was no sense of humour or he was hoping no-one would actually follow the links.
Far from embarrassed, I'm more than willing for people to question my motives and intentions, as long as they are prepared to let me respond to any accusations. I have nothing to hide.
My only concern is that his bravado may be mistaken for knowledge and people may take what he says as fact instead of doing their own research.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -

The only 'obsession with house prices crashing' here seems to be coming from the 'head in the sand' brigade who have done everything possible to restrict legitimate discussion on this board of what is now turning out to be the blooming obvious (a declining housing market).
The desire of the usual suspects to suppress discussion of the topic has now escalated to net-stalking of posters who oppose their views. It's pathetic to see.
Hopefully what discussion that has taken place here has enlightened some potential FTBs and investors to the dangers of the end of the house price boom and prevented them from making financially painful decisions.--

As it's a public forum?
Can't imagine starting a thread called "Canada is dull...yawn.." but if someone starts one with the opposite premise, I feel my view is as good as the next man's...0 -

Now then now then now then.
Then now, then now, now then.
Look you've been told about this before. House prices only go UP.
If you keep suggesting that they can go down, this thread will be deleted and anyone who has posted about house prices dropping, along with anyone else who has read the thread, or thought about the thread, will have their accounts deleted.
Now repeat after me:
HOUSE PRICES ONLY GO UP.
