Enjoy Canada. Hope it's as great for you as you believe.

Personally, I couldn't imagine anything worse than being sent to live in Canada - it always seemed rather ...large and dull... I'd miss all my loved ones and the things and people that make England special.

Still, we're all different, which is one of the wonderful things about the world.

Still not sure why you felt the need to come and rant/gloat on here before you went, but as long as it's got it out of your system... ;)

Will post in parts as my pc keeps crashing but I am delighted to report my good news particularly to the doom and gloom merchants and especailly to the mse'er who copied my post when my house sale fell through 4 days from my emigration to Canada to the HPC website and called me a dimwit:rotfl:
how sad is that! So quit hiding whoever gleefully reported my upsetting news and copied my post to HPC and called me a dimwit who knows nowt would love to know who you are.
Will you be copying this post on to HPC to tell them that I have made an £11500 profit on a new build in 11 months? thought not

well it can be done folks

offer November 16th full asking ie £2000 more than the lying october sale buyers
    survey November 19th
    exchanged today yeeeeeehhhhaaaa!

New build which we purchased Feb this year profit £11500 so shove that where the sun dont shine especially the poster who regulalrly suggests sellers reduce by 50% then 10% every week until you sell
    what tosh

I hope this gives some hope to all sellers and a message to those hesitating to buy that yes sales are happening.

Als0 like to mention that we had a another viewing last week just incase and they also wanted it!!!!!!

anyway going to crack open the champagne Canada here we come!!

Huge thanks to the majority of mse'ers who have been most supportive

bought a house for £30k in 1979 sold it last year for £880k beat that :rotfl:

Canada is great. England is great.

    So is a dictionary.

Everyone is impressed by a spelling pedant. It shows an impressive depth of pettiness rarely seen on the internet these days. Oh hang on, no....

A lot of people do feel that correct spelling is important - get it wrong and it totally changes the meaning, you see.

Education is not something to be ashamed of; ignorance on the other hand...

just that when i was so down about the the sale that fell through and msers called me a dimwit , stupid etc etc etc and some saddo even copied my bad news onto hpc how sad is that
just wanted to share some postive news for any sellers out there

poster who has made £800000 plus, wonderful hope you put it to good use

my dream hasnt come true from this sale but from the sale of 14 homes and a pub/restaurant over the last several years

I have also made a living from entering competitions since 1984 which has enabled me to pay off mortgages etc buts thats a whole seperate issue

UK does have a good comping scene but the Canadian comping scene is even better:T

just in shock that this sale has been the most scary in the current climate and even more in shock that a profit was made.

still got a probate house to sell though but fingers crossed its almost there

mr i love Britain good luck to you

ah look at the haters out in full force! haha

oh and i do hope you have thought it all out, etc another guy on another forum emigrated to Canada lasted 5 weeks before coming back, bought a house out there, car, etc etc.

don't think he did his research into the area properly, very villagey he said out in the middle of nowhere and where the local mother's paid men $100 to sleep with their daughters (but the daughter's were blindfolded & the mum's in the room too!) in order to get a new bloodline into the village! haha

Yes, I hope you have researched living in Canada. I know several Canadians who couldn't wait to move to London because they found Canada so provincial and dull - despite the truly breathtaking scenery.

London especially has become a cesspit during the last few years (mainly due to the massive increase in population), but some parts of Britain are still very fine. I also don't personally like the decline in moral values, and the greed and corruption that have intensified in the last decade or so. These things have always existed, of course, but they have worsened in recent years. Perhaps Canada will be better in those respects.
