wasnt me who posted the bits re squatnow from other sites
you are missing the point entirely re my extreme state of euphoria
my profit is most welcome naturally
the fact that I have actaully achieved a sale in under 4 weeks, havent had to take a reduced offer, miraculously made a profit and can at last realise my dream to live in Canada has me in the stratosphere of pleasure:D
as an avid reader of mse it seems the majoirty spout endless doom and gloom and hopelessness for anyone wanting to opt out of the UK market and sell in the current climate
just wish to convey a ray of hope and positive news for a change
so much bitterness and envy it amuses me no end
anyway huge luck to anyone trying to sellI found my eutopia tee hee I live in canada yeehaa!0 -

What makes you think I'm jealous of £11.5K profit? If the housing market had continued to grow 2nd half as it did 1st you'd be looking at much bigger profit.Keep the right company because life's a limited business.0 -

Yes, sorry. I noticed that after I posted and edited my post to acknowledge that it was running horse who did the original mud-slinging.
If I'd managed to offload a recently bought newbuild at a profit onto an idiot with more money than sense I'd be pretty happy too--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -
I lived in Canada a while back. It's a big country have you commited to a province? And why is it such a dream to live there? I mean that in curiosity not being patronising/aggresive - I enjoyed living there but it was very expensive hence I don't live there now.£4000 challenge
Currently leftover - £3872.150 -

Why shouldn't those on the receiving end know that Squatnow isn't a squatter, and has never owned a house, yet sees fit to tell homeowners what to do? 5 minutes of googling is hardly stalking.
Yet it is interesting to know Squatnow started his career at the HPC forum (naturally), under the name casa the anarchist, where he finishes this discussion by inciting a serious criminal act:
http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=49031
Or this discussion where he suggests tenants ruin their credit rating and get a court judgement by not paying rent:
http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=49165&hl=squatnow
Squatnow is free to post anything he likes within the rules of this forum. We are entitled to reply, and question his true motivation, which seems to be good old fashioned hatred and ignorance.Been away for a while.0 -

Well I can add great universities to the list of good things about Canada as I attended one and it was fantastic. Consumer items are pricy but perhaps that is a good thing as people are far less materialistic there. I lived in Ontario which isn't as cold as some provinces but they had fantastic Christmas displays.
Congratulations on making your dream come true - enjoy!£4000 challenge

As someone who has lived in several different countries, I have come to the conclusion that it's what YOU make of it. ALL countries have good and bad social and economic aspects to them, but ultimately your happiness is down to you.
Personally, I think your UK 'rant' was a little childish. If you think that Canada will be some kind of utopian dream, in which happiness is handed to you on a plate, you may be in for a dissapointment.0 -
ah look at the haters out in full force! haha
i think the "profit" is a bonus and two fingers up to the person who was happy about their sale falling through.
don't think this is a "look at me, i'm gonna be a millionaire cos I've made £11k" type of thread, just one in which they're happy to eventually get rid of their place ready for their next huge step in their lives.
oh and i do hope you have thought it all out, etc another guy on another forum emigrated to Canada lasted 5 weeks before coming back, bought a house out there, car, etc etc.
don't think he did his research into the area properly, very villagey he said out in the middle of nowhere and where the local mother's paid men $100 to sleep with their daughters (but the daughter's were blindfolded & the mum's in the room too!) in order to get a new bloodline into the village! haha0
