    In: hm cottage pie, 2 hm beef burgers, 2 hm small veg quiche, later (in the morning) hm slow cooker oxtail stew.
    Fenugreek seeds, sunflower oil, wholegrain mustard.
    Out: ingredients for above dishes including the frozen onions, celery and carrots i done. In future i am going to pre-mix the mirapoix i think. 2 pork chops for imprompto bbq last night. Flour, fenugreek etc for bread.
    The fenugreek has become my goto flavour when doing bread.
    I got some alluminium pie tins for the quiche, makes it a bit easier to make ahead and freeze. I got enough pastry from one ready rolled (stretched) for 2 tins!
    It open farm sunday this weekend, so have been researching prices for meat, especially lamb, 2 of the farms sell to the public, so hoping to support a local supplier in future instead of the big chains.

    In: peas, a portion of chicken and chorizo pasta.
    Out: two large portions of chicken, 1 for Friday and one tonight. Some chorizo, pasta and veg.
    I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

    Out: polenta to go with half the slowcooker oxtail. Wholemeal flour for pancakes, hm ham both for brunch. 
    In: half batch of pancakes.

    Out: rest of the defrosted chicken, part of the defrosted gammon and a selection of veg and pastry ingredients.

    In: some pastries (keep me away from L!dl when the bakery discount is on in the evenings).

    Out: chicken thighs (yesterday), chopped tomatoes, tins butterbeans and canneloni, mixed herbs all for a traybake.
    In: lamb neck fillets, smoked back bacon (from open farm sunday visit), chopped tomatoes.
