Never got around to using the roast beef slices (cubed), so made a "Roast Dinner" salad for work lunch today.
Out: brown rice, jar of snacking garlic. Ended up cooking pumpkin cubes, sliced green beans. Redreshed in ice water. Added to everything above with fresh tomatoes, basil and a creamy horseradish dressing. It tastes amazing!
Out for tonight: turkey breast.

I'm losing track of details but over the past few days we've mostly shopped for the day rather than planning from stores, then tonight I got some great discounts in L!dl so I have to find space for those.
In: cod in breadcrumbs, salmon fillets, chocolate, SR flour, gluten free flour & baking powder, stem ginger, dark brown sugar, small smoothies, brown rice.

Not posted for ages, so this is what I can remember:
In: 24 chicken breasts, 8 small steaks (musclefood order), 2 x pork stew, 2 x squash & chickpea curry, 2 Waitrose steak and mushroom pies, 2 packs goats cheese, 4 chicken thighs
Out: Bread, sea bass fillets, pork roasting joint ( which was turned into the pork stew), 1 of the chicken breasts, Swedish Glace, blueberries, salmon fillets, bacon, pork mince, meatballs, prawns, stewed plums, ham portion2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used

In: everything from inside freezer bagged up and put into outside freezer. We are going on holiday and I hadn't been able to run down the big outside freezer so when the opposite way and will be turning off the fridge/freezer when I go on holiday - at least it will save a bit of electric!
Out for dinner tonight: butter chicken, red lentil Dahl, garlic and coriander naan breads. Only thing I need to cook rather than reheat was some basmati/wild rice mix.

Out: tins tuna. Got big packs of salad from 0l1o, so been using that for work salads. The chicken and pork i got was cooked and used over 2 days each, never saw the freezer! Lentil soup, oxtail soup, again for work. Hm blueberry ice lolly for ms C. Tin mixed spicy beans, rainbow trout.

Out: wholemeal roll for me for lunch; couple of bagels for DH for lunch. Will use up the LO BBQ pulled pork from a couple of days ago. Dinner tonight will be the LO roast pork, some frozen chips and half tin of beans from the fridge.
Will also be cooking pasties when I do the chips for tomorrow.1 -
In: smoked haddock fillets, chicken thighs, half pack chicken breasts, half pack pork chops (rest was used for bbq yesterday).
Out friday: ingredients for breadrolls, tins tuna for quesidillas, flatbread for the same.
We have actively tried not to overspend and only buy what we need with a bit of prebuying (packs of meat) when the budget allows. Trying to lower the cupboard supplies too.
On holiday now, so have time to play in the kitchen and not just the same old dishes because no energy or time.
Ms C have also asked me to teach her a few easy recipes, i have always done most of the cooking, but trying to be healthier and she wants to help.
Hope everyone enjoyed the jubilee weekend, i finally off now to play catchup on the parades and parties on the iplayer!It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.1
