Morning everyone, YL thanks for your kind words. I had quite a good nights sleep last night so feeling positive again, and best of all the sun is just starting to come up and it's going to be a beautiful dry sunny day, although cold.
Bed made, clothes picked up, windows have been opened and closed again
DW and kitchen sorted
Spending spreadsheet updated
Next is breakfast and write a shopping list then shopping. Fridge is just about empty, lettuce and cheese is all that is left. And even the freezer is down to a bit of veg and a few odd bits such as 1 piece of battered fish and 1 piece of salmon.
Best SMILES on, be positive and focus on the good bits of the day.

morning all
managed to sleep until 9:30 so well rested.
WM x1 which I'm hoping will lighten up on the line, if not dry properly. Towels. DW x 1 too.
I also did a few extra bits which I left to dry.
Ive made the decision not to go to the funerals due to Covid, there'll be a lot there. I've also turned down an invitation to see West Side Story; dil's parents went to the cinema before Xmas and both tested +ve one Boxing Day.
(My aunt and her son, my cousin. Joint funeral in Essex)
did some work work yesterday. Homework set to go live on 15th! Go me!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all,
Was up at 5am so lots done.
- Children away to school
- Laundry doing it's thing as I type
- Chickens attended to
- Shepherds Pie base in SC
- WUDUPA
- Some admin done including paying tax bill
- Phone call made
- Beds made
- General "stuff" rehomed
It feels like an awful lot more as I haven't stopped for 5.5 hours! But I am stopping now, I am going to have a cuppa and some toast. It is bitingly cold today but I am under my heated throw.
Take care all xx9 -
I need to write about me.. Why I need the ADHD assessment.. this is weird.. how do you write about yourself when you don't even think about yourself because it is too much effort?
Squeak doing her maths bingo thing.. OH loaded the DW but not doing the things he should be.. I have another parcel to package (ebeast this time) and some more stuff to list to fling..
I do not like having things to do.. I can never decide where to start!

Pigpen, if you find it hard to write about yourself try writing about who you want to be. You then have areas to focus on why you are not like that.
ASB you've done loads there, just because you wrote 'got kids to school' doesn't mean it didn't involve several bits (wake up, breakfast, dressing, no I want to wear something different, where's my ...). and where is the line about mental effort to make a phone call, if you're anything like me even just to book an appointment is a challenge.
My resolution is to focus on what I've done not what I didn't do.
Shopping done and all put away
Lunch in oven waiting for OH to come home.
TD filter and water holder emptied as I spotted it was full
Flowers I bought for myself put in a vase

Morning all, just.
First work shift done, dailies done, attempted a dog walk but neither dog was interested, hoovered through.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Did a load of washing yesterday because it was bright and clear and the moment I went to peg it out it rained. It's on the line this morning so I hope it dries a bit because from here on in it's rain rain rain.Did the shower room which was seriously overdue, gave the lodger some clean bedding for him to deal with, swept and washed the kitchen floor and vacuumed the stairs. Ordered and collected cats and dog wormers and flea treatment, all due soon, decluttered library books back to the library and picked up the one I'd reserved weeks ago which was on it's final day and realised we'd run out of cat food they get at bedtime as a treat so nipped into Sainsbobs on the way to the station to pick up Belovéd.My new year's resolutions are to set the timer for five minutes and actually clean something for those five minutes, rather than tidy up and put away which is what I spend most of my time doing, and to also sort out one space a day. So far so good on both counts. I always start the year well and then it falls by the wayside but at this point if I can get some of the knee deep dust off the tops of cupboards by spending five minutes a day on doing so that will be progress. Today the drawer I sorted was overflowing when I tried to cram something else in it, so I sorted it out. I'm sad to see my collection of paper bags in the recycling bin but just because my mother collected every signle paper bag she was given when shopping doesn't mean I need to. (I saved the pretty ones, though. Gently does it.)Better is good enough.9

Hiya xx
Sneaking in whilst at work -
Before I set off for work, as well as my usual feed the birds and put out the recycling, I took down all the Christmas cards and denuded the tree of baubles, star and tinsel. Just got to take off the lights and dismantle the tree tonight.
On my way home I'll call at the Post Office to pay the rent and leccy bill, and get cash to pay the window cleaner.
Every little helps 😉
