*Healing vibes* for Mr and Mrs Pigpen. Our cats have always kept us company when either of us have been under the weather. So comforting.Natty, you're doing exactly the right thing telling us how grim you're feeling at the moment. It will pass, but the stress of moving is partly the number of decisions we have to make, and the fact that there's a deadline even before the date's known. It's also incredibly hard work, physically. It's all just too much.Sometimes I think it's easy to think everyone on here is beavering away, scrubbing and dusting and vacuuming, polishing and tidying, but I really suspect some of us are practising Avoidance Of Flying far more than we're actually doing anything very much. I know of at least one person who is, and that's me. Anyone who comes up with the idea of doing a 5 Minute Fly Daily isn't doing much most days, is she? And I'm not embarrased by that, either - it's just a state of affairs here. You're feeling fragile and that's a horrible feeling, but it will get better as the days get longer, so if you'd rather hibernate for a bit as long as you can accept that's normal and nothing to feel guilty about, you're going to feel a lot better a lot sooner. (((Hugs)))As for me, I've done as much as I can over the past few days of Belovéd's birthday and a jolly time was had by all, I managed my 5 Minute Flying dailies and sorting a space a day as well, but the spaces have been tiny on the busy days. I've also crashed and watched endless YouTube videos for hours at a time because that's as much as I can manage.Layla has learned how to lift delicious things out of the kitchen bin when our backs are turned. The day before yesterday it was a Yorkshire pud, and today it was half a slice of toast. I'm so thrilled she's learning to be naughty I let her keep her prizes.
Better is good enough.7 -
Round.. he is Pudding. He is very much my baby. I’ve had 5 of them in here most of the day. He looks like a black puddle on my bed.
