A late check in from me. Just been to the tip and charity drop off point, nice to see more stuff out of the house. Top of my kitchen dresser was cleared and rehomed on Friday so that's a bit of progress. Still loads more to do.
Pigpen, rest and fluids, and look after yourself.
Picked up our new car on Friday evening so very excited. Yet another step towards our new life and next adventure.
Just need to sell the house. Gardener coming tomorrow to give me a quote to tidy it up and then maintain it until the house is sold. We've accepted that 2 gardens 200 miles apart are too difficult to keep on top of and the garden is one of the selling points of this place.
Hugs to all, sticks and spoons on the side, next to the cake.8 -

Bathroom given a good clean, remotes and door handles given a good wipe, whole house vacuumed, LR dusted. Yes I know that was all back to front, but the sun was shining into the LR so I could see the dust there, whereas I don’t need to see it in the DR.I have also tidied - ahem - away some chocolate that was on the bookcase. Apart from cooking dinner this evening, which will be an easy all in one tray roast of some description, that is probably my flying done for the day. Back to the knitting for a while.6 -

Hi all, not been posting since i said i would join. Children/grandchild visiting, grandchildren, that live here with their parents, only just back to school. But been productive today. Decluttered two rams back home to a neighbour. Hopefully they have done their job. Also moved around a ton of branches and logs from the latest fallen tree. DW 3 times, TD and WM too. Be back next week to try in earnest. Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.9

GWS @pigpen, your furry friend is gorgeous!
The tree is down! High 5 me! Myself and 8yo dragged it down the seafront this morning in the lovely cold sunny weather. We then blitzed the LR. The rest will have to wait.
Just getting school stuff ready for both of us tomorrow.8
