Thank you everyone, you've reduced me to a purple puddle again.....lol. It's nice to know that I have people who care and in my corner, if you know what I mean.
I had a talk to DH, well actually I gave him what I had written. It's easier for me to do that than talk to him. He was so understanding and had realised that I was hiding something..bless him. We've said I'll do what I can when I can and if there are days I want to curl up and do nothing then that is what I'm to do. But he does want me to be more open with him and NOT hide anything again.
Weirdly I had an old friend, who I hadn't spoken to for years, got in touch with me via Instagram. We had quite a toxic relationship at the end as both of us were dealing with mental health issues at the time
Those that have been here years do you remember the cat I took on, from her as she moved, and then was ill and sadly had to be put down..this is the friend. I'm glad we are back in touch...weirdly I've missed her a lot.
Anyway I'm going to go to bed with my book and a Horlicks and start again tomorrow.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Natty. I'm pleased you sorted things at home. I knew you would be supported and undestood but it is hard speaking out and admitting you are finding things hard.. you should be very proud of yourself!! I recall the friend and cat.. tread carefully.. you are in a sensitive place right now and I would hate for you to be hurt or taken advantage of.. aybe keep her at arms length for a bit. She betrayed your trust and friendship and that takes time to heal and lay to rest.. I don't believe in forgiveness for crimes against the heart so I cannot say that. (((hugs)))
WM x2 on
Swimming stuff sorted. I am so sad to not be taking Dot.Ballet and theatre class stuff prepped for the morning.. Squeak told a shower is vital because she is not coming out with me unless she has one.Shopping list written.
OH is coughing less today than he normally does.. the last round of plague victims were much more unwell than he is.. mind you, his mother was totally assymptomatic.. maybe their immune systems are better than ours lol.. and there is time I guess.. no one else succumb yet...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
Natty - big hugs from Wales - it will be lovely to have you closer x
I need to get my butt back into flying mode ASAP. I've been doing lots of night shifts at Maccy Ds and so the house has reverted to being a pit.
I have not enjoyed the extended school holiday Valli, but understand the need to get things ready. I help run our breakfast club at school and have had to put measures in place if there is sickness due to Covid with me or Katy. I've avoided the plague so far, but I know I'll get it eventually.
Footie in the pouring rain this morning (joy), then a mammoth cleaning and ironing session before a Tesco food delivery.

Morning all
Natty I am SOOO proud of you my lovely. We are all always here for you, never forget that xxx
DS up at 5am, as per, I feel so blinking exhausted all the time. I feel as if I’ve have a permanent cold and runny nose for about three months now!
It’s raining here but lots of laying snow. I’m going to jump in the shower now, then make a start on tidying this place. Due to the children having an impromptu day off yesterday, combined with the weather, there is laundry, wellies, outer gear - you name it, all over the place.
Pork for dinner xxx

Morning all,
Natty, everyone has said everything better than I can, so just lots of hugs to you from me xxBeing soft southerners, when the snow came down with force for a while yesterday, DH panicked and started telling me to get home. I left an hour early, much to the amusement (or not) of the bosses. Today it has all been washed away…
I also have a house like a pit, having been back at work, DD still being here, and DH wfh still. I need to do something about it, but have promised DD a day together in small town. I hate going anywhere at the weekend, but my day off is taken up with appointments, and I think that she will be back at uni soon. Due to boredom here with us here in the sticks, rather than having to go back for another fortnight. The first job after getting dressed will be to sort out the kitchen a bit - washing up on the surfaces, wm to load, and an ironing pile to banish.Back later to keep myself in line xx11 -
Just woken up to see that the promised 'warm' front has arrived. It looks damp out there but not icy. It was definitely freezing when I put the bunnies to bed last night.
DW, WM and TD have all been pressed into service on night rate leccy.
Yes Dizzy...with no littlies at home my perspective on school hols is the polar opposite of yours!
I plan to spring clean my make up bag this morning and ditch anything with a 12 month sign on it (other than powder and foundation) because I know it's been in there at least that long. I have a stash I can press into service so all good.
Im also trying to wear fragrance daily because I'm developing a SABLE. I forgot yesterday.
Back in bed with a coffee now.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all xx
I am absolutely drained so today will have to be a spoon gathering day- with a quiet plod through a little list. If I can stop yawning enough to write one!
Who pulled out my plug?
To Do today list:
Brew 2 and breakfast
Take clean dry washing upstairs
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
I've made my bed and brought down the laundry hamper.
Love to all

Sorry you're feeling meh, round. Have a (((hug))) from me x
More (((hugs))) to Natty and also to Dizzy xx
So far this morning I have
- checked my bank account
- tried to find the online bill for the church gas usage (we have no gaiters to go with it) and it appears that, although I've received the email notification, the website has not been updated - so a waste of time and effort
- written a long email to a friend who messaged me
- eaten breakfast
- consolidated a few papers into smaller boxes
- put gammon in my new (replacement for broken) SC.
I must shower and dress, then dust and hoover all through.
See you later xxx10 -
Back again…
Big squishy hug to Round, and a spare spoon flung in a northerly direction xx
Kitchen tidied (DH can find whatever he is looking for but then suffers with Temporary Man Brain Fog when it comes to putting away. In the exact same place). WULTD. Dw reorganised so that there is no need to run it atm. Wm run, but it has decided to take an age. HHI done, clean washing sorted and returned to rightful owners. Ensuite and downstairs toilet S but not S. I will do the bathroom after DD surfaces. The vacuum cleaner badly needs a trip out later. Odd bits flung towards the recycling bin.
I finished the first legwarmer last night, so I need to get a wiggle on and cast on the second one. DD unhelpfully wants a matching pair. I ask you - fussy or what!7 -
