After 3 freezing cold days at school Twinkle is now coughing.. I am NOT impressed!! My chest is still a bit fluffy and feathery when breathing too.. but I do not have OH's 'rona.. I don't have time for his plagues.. eewww... man germs....
Bag of catalogue returns.. returned..
Next sale stuff picked up from DD1's .. duvet cover for me since the old one is torn and the other has a revolting stain from lord knows where and not fit to be seen.. and some leggings for Twinkle when she grows a bit and a top for me for when it is less freezing.. and a fluffy pink jumper which is a bit itchy and also being returned.
Returned DD1's 2 plastic tubs.
Pixies new (to her) coat has been posted too.. £7 inc. postage on V!nted.. tyvm.. bargain!
OH loading the DW and I need to go do food.. not that I want any having devoured a candy cane and 3 pink and whites!
I know what keep meaning to write and forgetting because I am a moron.. apologies to my lovely Secret Santa... My knitting mug is perfect.. very appropriate.. it has pride of place beside my chair for my cable needles.. next to my vintage glass jug which holds my needles. Thank you and please forgive my rudeness for not thanking you sooner xxx

Morning all
DD is refusing to sleep at night until around 11pm, DS falls asleep at 7.30 and wakes up at 5. I need matchsticks... this too shall pass and all that jazz...
WM and DW are both doing their thing, there were faarrr too many pots staring at me when I came down this morning so the old clunky DW can have a last hurrah.
Apart from a bit of baking, and seeing to the chickens, I’m not too sure what today brings. The floors need doing but they can wait until the children are at school tomorrow. Have lovely days all xx

Morning all
I agreed to pick DS1 up from the pub last night so had an icy drive up over the moors to a pub in the middle of nowhere to collect him at 11.30pm. Weirdly I have lost all confidence driving so it probably did me good.
Thought about going out on the bike today but its very cold and frosty. The car wants washing, and the windows need cleaning. I also have paperwork for DHs month end to do.
But first we have a big supermarket shop coming 9am to 10am so that will be to sort and put away.
Pigpen hope you are not too poorly and get over it quickly x

Morning all. Hope any poorlies are improving this morning.
Like YSL I did a drive yesterday which has boosted my confidence again after hardly driving during this pandemic. I went all by myself to Piggers land.
Today DD and DGD2 are visiting for the afternoon so her DH gets some peaceful time to study.
I'm just having breakfast, then will wash up and clean the bathrooms.
I have already done all other dailies, hoovered carpeted areas and walked the dogs. Also, all baby stuff is ready for DDs arrival and I've started to prep food for the dogs.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all
It was a frosty one last night, but at least the rain / snow has stopped and there is a blue sky.
DD got the train to the uni city to see her BF yesterday afternoon, so will need picking up again from big town at some point today. DH was not impressed, but he is never going to be impressed by any boy in DD’s life, so he needs to get over it. She is out again this evening at her friend’s house so I might have a dig around in the freezer and see if there is any meat that I can throw DH’s way for dinner to appease him, as opposed to the usual veggie diet.
YL - My car also needs washing, but then the floors also need vacuuming, and that will be warmer, so I think that vacuuming wins today 😉. There’s a first. I’ve also lost a lot of driving confidence, and I think much of it is down to the amount of aggression on the roads for no reason. People need to calm down. Plus our dear friend who was killed last week has affected us all.
I need to load the wm. DH is noisily unloading the dw. 2 cuppas had. S’pose I had better get dressed.
Hugs, sticks and spoons (looking at restocking your cutlery drawer, Round 😉) available. Pigpen - I hope you don’t get too poorly xx8 -
Morning all xx
I feel more human this morning 🎉. Seriously pleased that I had this coming week booked off as Annual Leave as I was running on fumes. Fumes' fumes maybe! 'Hanging on by an eyelash' territory.... not nice.
I slept a little better last night (which helps!!!). My bed is made and my first brew supped. I've opened the upstairs windows a tad to let in some fresh air - but they'll not be open long...I can hear Mum asking if I'm trying to heat the street. Memories 🙂
It feels very spacious in here without the Christmas tree. I remembered that my tree once stayed up for 2 years - bare but decorated each Christmas - and here's me with Christmas all boxed up and put away by 8th January. I forget sometimes just how far I have come....as there's still a long way to go.
To Do Today List:
Brew 2 (not hungry yet)
Get dressed
Close the windows
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Laundry shuffle × lots
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Pay the gas bill
Recycle Christmas cards
That'll do for starters.
Hope you are feeling OK piggers Xx
Saving your spoons for best Fayolle Xx
Love to all and mahoosive hugs. You are all amazing - don't forget 😘

Exactly Round... you have come so far. Kitchen table etc.
hope you're not feeling too ropey Piggers.
yesterday I tweaked and prepped for tomorrow. Slideshows ready so I'm ready to go. But clearly stressed/anxious as evidenced by dream.
i also cleared more stuff out of office/guest room. I have stuff dumped on the bed, which is not good. But far less stuff now.
Flying next week will be minimal as I'm at work 4 days and I'm hoping to be making marmalade on Wednesday if I can find oranges.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
