Earning some money would be a game-changer, NG - even if it's just a few hours a week to cover the vet bills 🤣!

I’d have to work full time to cover those 😂

Off to the shops this morning with dh to collect my new shoes, will go very early to try and avoid the crowds. Also going to be picking up a few Wii games, I bought the console for the Wii fit and we had a lot of fun last night with it with ds2 and dil 😁 who knew you could even create a version of your pets on there, it took me right back to when the kids where younger. We found a few games at Cex and they are only a pound or two each and seem to be in stock where I'm going today, might ask dd and hubby round Monday to join us in some childhood games 😊

Dhs parents have Covid so we won’t be visiting this weekend, his younger brother is with them so they are ok. Tomorrow we are round my parents for a roast dinner with amazingly all of our kids and partners coming too which is highly unusual!

Vets bills really can build quickly!  I’m pretty sure I can feed myself for less than we spend on cat food too!

I got OH a copy of Just Dance on the wii for his birthday recently.  It is really fun, quite a good workout and was only £1 from CEX!  Would definitely recommend.

Thanks I shall look for that next time Ramouth! I got a few new games, ds 2 is paying for the ones he requested (including ratatouille 😂) but even more thrilling was the microphone and abba/Beatles games, not sure the Beatles is compatible as it’s rock band and it’s been so long ds2 couldn’t remember as we used to have all this years ago! I’ve taken a chance though as they were so cheap 😬

Dh is at work this morning , it’s a good job as for the second day running his 6am alarm woke me up 😡 he is insisted it was off after yesterday, then again today it went off 😩 I wouldn’t mind but I’m
    not sleeping well this week.

Yesterday dd rang while we were at the shopping centre early and asked if we wanted to meet her after getting her hair done, so we ended up taking her for a drink at the village pub where we used to live and getting a few nibbles, £27 spent but I couldn’t not do it as it doesn’t happen often now. They are thinking of moving fairly soon from the flat they bought last year, and are considering this village along with a huge housing estate nearby, so I gave her the hard sell on how lovely it was living there when she was a baby and drove around it giving her a tour,  I did warn her if she does buy there then mummy and daddy might move next door 😂

Awake early again today but no alarm this time 😆 yesterday went really well, a huge lovely roast dinner then a game of HP trivial pursuit, then dd and and dh/dgd came back to ours to play in the Wii until 9, so I didn’t manage to stay  awake for all of the new Agatha Christie.

Feeling stuffed after that and I am going away in 20 days for 8 days on a ship where I will no doubt eat way too much and I already still have the weight from last years trips 😩 Despite a fridge full of left over roast dinner and some Easter eggs I think I may try my slim fast shakes for as long as I can manage it before I go as I just don’t feel great and even a few pounds off might help!

No plans today, dh is going to the cinema with dd to see the new Mario film which I don’t fancy, might sort through my clothes to see what I’ve got to take away, judging by the weather lately warm waterproof stuff as it’s the uk 😂

That’s strange I posted a couple of days ago and there nothing here?! Oh well I’ve been absent for even longer then 😆 when I’m trying to be very strict with the finances I need to keep checking in, it’s been expensive so far this month and I’m struggling a bit. The cat is trying a different form of antibiotics but she’s terrified of taking them, we have tried everything and I’ve spoken to three different vets this week about her, now trying tablet form as of last night so fingers crossed (dil in charge as she’s the dr Doolittle in this house) The constant bleaching of the downstairs main room is exhausting though, they can reinfect themselves easily so everything is being cleaned all the time 😩 and this is transmissible to humans too!

Anyway with the cat as well as me “needing” some new clothes for our holiday it’s not going well. Not clothes shopping in a fun way, but feeling like I should buy things I feel ok in that are suitable, I’ve lots of clothes but not what I feel nice in since I’ve put half a stone on, if that makes sense. So I’ve ordered three dresses from ama@zon, if I lose weight they will still fit so not a total waste 🙂 Struggling to pack this time as it’s a uk cruise and we can only take a medium case each due to car space, i usually pack light when we are away but with a cruise you need so much more for the evenings, I do have compression packing cubes though so that helps, still have two weeks I juts like to be very organised 😆

Will do a check over of the finances later, dh is at work all day doing a more or less monthly private job he’s been doing a while now, nothing I can help with this time so I will potter around at home and maybe cook a casserole for the others and a Greek salad for me.

Now no, are you sure you 'need' more for the evenings?    :D:D  I'm sure there's plenty folk who wear the same as they had on during the day or the same evening outfit more than once.   I suspect that is slightly more a want than a need.  Seriously, hoping you have a great time
