I honestly don’t know how there’s any nhs staff left mfd’s, the amount of demanding rude patients was quite shocking in casualty 😱 the family next to us were chatting away with strangers about how they come regularly as they don’t want to wait for a doctors appointment, often a few them at a time, in and out having a go at the staff as they are having to wait 😡

just yes... I can't say much more but it is all very testing. Usually, things bounce off me as the majority of people treat you with respect when you are nice to them, listen, and respect them. But increasingly there are multiple other factors in play that impact everyone.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20221

I don’t know how you do it mfd’s but thank you ❤️Dil has had the mri and gets sent the results in three days. Not much else happened today, I took some Xmas crackers round mums to keep them safe from the kitten, big cat is still hiding ☹️ She’s eating at night when we are in bed, and we are in contact with the breeders still.
Finally updated the finances, the big cat and mri scan have been a paid for with savings for York trip and cancelled Poland trip, plus it looks like there was a bit of a shortfall which I’m taking from next years cruise pot.- £14.40 M&S food
- £11.50 Poundland , loo roll , squirrel nuts
- £20.83 cooling strips (for dils headaches) and food/ cat litter
- £29.80 primarni, new tracksuit for me for indoors as it’s freezing and Xmas napkins, candles
- £24.74 Lidl food
- £4.80 hospital parking
£1199.61/ £1800 spent so £600.39 left until the end of the year 😩 basically I need to get through the next ten days spending nothing to get back on track 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1 -
Good news (I think!) dils mri shows no major abnormalities, there’s a couple of things mentioned in the report which we have googled to see what it means, and hopefully it’s not too worrying 🤞 a copy went to her GP and she has an appointment for he 8th Dec to ask them to explain it and hopefully move on for there to find out what’s causing the headache.
Big new cat has moved into ds2’s bedroom as it’s quieter, she popped her head out a few times so we have a little progress! It will be a long process I think.Took mum, aunt, dil and dd to the German Xmas market on Monday and split the drinks and waffle bill with mum spending £8 also spent £17.80 on food in Iceland yesterday. Now spending is at £1225.41/£1800, so £574.59 until new year.Still debating whether to go to York this weekend, I have no budget for it at all so dh would need to cough up a bit from his personal spending money, plus he’s cancelled Monday off as we are not going to Poland. It’s the only weekend it free now before Xmas as the kids and my brother are using the flat every other weekend expect one (which is two days after I get back with best friend) I think I will leave it up to dh , but strangly I’m not that fussed really 🙄 I’m so tired this week I keep falling asleep at 9.30 which is unheard of!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1 -
Glad to hear your dils scan was ok and things are progressing for the cat's settling in.
I never quite catch how you work your money - but at least you are logging it all, which is more than I am doingMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20222 -
Good news about the scan and hopefully the gp can clarify things at the appointment. York does sound lovely but I guess it's a bit of trek for you and costs soon add up. If you do decide to go I'm sure you'll have a lovely time though.

Very glad to hear DIL’s scan was ok. Hope they get to the bottom of the headaches soon though - it must be awful for her. (The pill can cause headaches - have they ascertained it’s not that?)
MFD, I just nod and smile when NG does her maths - I’m sure it all makes sense to her though! Although I definitely think she is overspending on her challenge - that much I can work out!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hi guys 🙂 no it’s not the pill or medication she’s on, will have to wait I guess, although the last few days there’s been a slight improvement, I say stress can cause it so maybe that’s helped!Yes my financial fiddling I’m sure is confusing 🤪 I have overspent! however so far all payments I need to make to complete the 33 months plan have even made (although it’s only month two 😆) and payments for next winters northern cruise lights are currently on track 😬 just updated again and slightly reduced my Tesco shop to get what’s left to £500 as I want at least that for December 😬.
- £44.40 tomorrows Tesco delivery
- £15.46 Aldi today - making a vat of veggie Thai green curry to take to mums to watch football tonight for this household, everyone else getting a takeaway, how is it that expensive though?! 😩
- £14.38 breakfast today meeting friend home from Thailand , hooray!
Total spending Oct-Dec £1299.65 / £1800 , so £500.35 left, I need to not spend any money for the next few days! We are not going to York now, dh has too much work so I guess that will help.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1 -
No no noooo! The ULEZ zone is definitely being extended next August 😢 that means it will cost £12.50 a day to take the car off the drive 😩 Now we need a new car which is really bad timing, I was hoping to wait until after the mortgage is gone and get electric. Arghhhh!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁1
