Hi sc nice to see you 😁 oh yes don’t worry only for a present that needs buying on my list still 😉

Another 10 items listed on ebay today, half have bids on so far and all last weeks sold so fingers crossed! I’ve been tougher with the pricing this week so maybe not.

Dd is having a Halloween party next week, ds2 and I are going as Norma and Norman bates (the tv series version) I already have suitable clothes but need to be blonde so thought I’d have a go at the root touch up spray instead of a wig, don’t suppose anyone knows of it would work ok to cover brown hair for the night?

Too much going in yesterday to post what with the excitement of the dr who episode! 😱 what a belter, dd rang up in tears after she’s happy 😆

Anyway back to earth, yesterday was actually a NSD in the end, we went to see Halloween Ends at the cinema but all took water (except dh who had to buy a drink there, he paid but it still annoys me!) then home for an experimental dinner of slow cooked lasagne - ok , and slow cooked roast potatoes - would have been less soggy if I’d stayed home and followed the recipe 😂 all edible though, so I’m counting it as a success and will try and improve next time.

Not done a food shop properly for ages as ds2 and wife were house sitting so I’ve been running supplies down. Off to the shopping centre with mum today, used the n@xt £10 discount as it’s aunts birthday this week and she asked for (she writes a list!!) something from hotel chocolate, which next sell as well, so happy days 😊

I May have ordered my first item from Vinted today, a joules jersey tunic dress for £4.90, will collect for free from the local corner shop. I’d seen one I loved in the store when we went to sailsbury but it was £80 , so I thought I’d try someone second hand, I’ve not bought anything from there before so not sure it’s my style really but it all looks comfy and casual which is what I’ve turned to since lockdown.

    • £4.90 joules dress
    • £523.45 / £1800 which is a daily average overspend of £48.73 , however I need to buy a few bits today.

So spending today ended up being :

    • Vinted the dress mentioned above £4.90
    • Vinted white joules plain long sleeve top £7.49 -oops!
    • £2 primark vest
    • £5 Poundland , loo roll , Halloween makeup and my mums Halloween hairspray
    • £7.10 M&S food, bread, 2x chicken legs, big block cheddar, xmas Percy pigs for ds1’s stocking

Total spending so far £545.04 / £1800 an average overspend so far of £70.32.

Also got some of the blonde dye hairspray for nothing using my boots points, saving £6 😁

Its getting quite tedious and sometimes a little embarrassing posting the daily spends on here, but I have to say it’s working as I’m spending way less I’m sure!

It sure why but I forgot to post yesterday, spending was £52.58 on a Tesco delivery, I’ll update the figures later after I’ve been out today as I’m meeting best friend for a coffee and can’t remember if it’s my turn to pay.

Just found a link on HUKD for a free pack of Percy pigs on the M&S app (had to click on the link first) would have been handier before I bought a pack Monday but still it’s free Percy’s, happy days! 😊

Great MMP, mine have been claimed and eaten already 😁

Spending update for yesterday and today:

    • £2 pumpkin from M&S after I saw it gets refunded on tcb so really free!
    • £7 knickers for me, needed!
    • £57.90 Tesco delivery
    • £19 Poundland , Halloween bits , sweets, spider costume for the borrowed dog 😆
Total spend £630.94 / £1800 an average overspend of £96.88.

Hopefully I can have a very low spend few days and catch up a bit, ds1 is away in York, we have a party at dds tomorrow and there’s enough food for a few days in the freezer.

Mortgage update to follow tomorrow, the first month of the 33 month target to clear the mortgage 😀

Hmm… £19 in Poundland when you’re so far over budget doesn’t sound entirely like you’re taking this challenge seriously NG?! I know you love Halloween, but does someone else’s dog really need a bought costume?

This is why I’m posting on here everyday Vix 😬 the costume was not needed at all to be honest but was cute 🙄 I did buy some grocery bits too so it’s not quite as bad as it looks , but I take your point and am happy to be kept in line 😁
