Thanks guys 🙂 I think Vix that I’d feel like getting it all sorted and repaired and seeing how we feel if we could enjoy the garden. Location for travel and amenities is great (but sometimes noisy), it would definitely help I think - unless we get some awful new neighbour 🤣
Im on a roll this week, we had an email from the agent and have had an offer on the factory, renting at 8k under the reduced price 😳 we have haggled up to that the first year and an extra £2.5k ongoing. I need to email and accept today although they will be shut, as it was all a bit last minute yesterday. The tennant seems good as does the guarantees etc. (dad did a deep dive for us to check). It will be a fair bit less than the neighbours pay for the same unit but clearly the market has dropped at the moment. It means if we get it done asap then we won’t need to bolster up the business account from the mortgage offset to cover the imminent business rates and we can stay mortgage free, hooray! 🥳I’ll still look at what the best option is longer term but without the pressure to have to make a decision now that will be better.Off out for breakfast today for best friends birthday, this will not help the budget which is very tight this month on the £350 challenge, I shan’t be doing this for Feb, it’s been hard 🤣MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁9 -

Great news on the tenant, and I hope that they go from strength to strength at their new location 👍
Thank you for being candid about how hard financial 'pinchy' budgets are - am I allowed to say I smiled at your "I'm not doing this for February.." admission 😁 I mean in a "supportive nod" type way, and not in anyway critical. I can't believe how money just evaporates - even just buying 'essentials'. Keep on keeping on!

Thank you everyone, hopefully it looks like we have agreed most things, I don’t know when they want to move in and still have lots of paperwork to sort out and fees to pay soon, however there should now be enough left in the business to manage that.
GP, I’m going check what I’ve spent today and it’s going to be too much for this point in the month 🙄 i won’t be doing it in February, I clearly need my personal spending money to spend 😆
Its not been a great few days, family issues still ongoing with one child which is very upsetting, so much so one eye turned into an eye infection and the drops for the pharmacy cost £6.99 so that’s not helped the budget 🤣 I’m sure it will sort itself out at some point but I could do without all the stress. On a brighter note I’m going to stay in today and clean the house and then sit and work out a new budget as if we have rent coming in the next few months, it may be a bit premature but I feel I need to do it. Dh is getting a bit grumpy about being in debt (not like him!) and having no money so I think a full run down and plan of action he can look at would be beneficial. We need to think about retirement plans too and when that might be if we can afford it.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁9
